Bad mouthing NLSC and the community...

Other video games, TV shows, movies, general chit-chat...this is an all-purpose off-topic board where you can talk about anything that doesn't have its own dedicated section.

thanks alot for the support Qweet. Andrew's humbleness is rubbing off on me...so it's all good. This board is a peaceful one and we're glad for that. A public air of professionalism is always welcomed, whether it's the internet or not. :)

Yeah me too. Both boards have some terrific posters who really add alot to the forums.

Jonesy on nbalive.org forum wrote:I'm relieved to see the site up and running. I hate other sites, some of the people suck.

I wasn't necessarily taking about the nlsc but more about operation sports and the nbadraft.net boards but i'm sorry if any offense was taken over here, twas unintentional. I was just pleased to see the .org site back up again because i had missed it. :D

Both boards are cool (i know i read both even if i only mainly post at one).
I don't particularly think these divisions are as deep as is being made out because i know of a lot of cool guys who post on both without really getting caught up in too much politics (Nick, Colin, Pavel and the Bob come to mind).

Just my .02 cents Image (good work on adding the thubs up by the way, it's a good addition.)

I didn't feel like making another thread, just wanted to make something clear if you didn't understand Andrew.

Original topic

I have no problem with people complimenting the work of the nbalive.org team, nor do I feel it inappropriate to express happiness with the success of the site.

OK, that only means I lost my bet but that doesn't mean other people feels the same way you do, I mean if there are people from both sites, respect (knowing some of them are members of the other site) other members is part of your rules, making fun of other members' site is not part of the respect you are talking about.

Maybe you really don't care others expressing how they feel about others, but notice that sometimes the rules are violated when that happens. Knowing some people hate so much that they've started posting how they feel about a particular person, they for sure are violating your rules of respect towards other members (whether or not those are members of other sites, it's not supposed to happen in your site), so not every time you can believe the freedom of speech should be available.

Yohance's views and opinions are his own, and he is entitled to them

& I never said he doesn't, all I was trying to show you was that people don't like others making fun or bashing other people's work.

but they do not represent my views.

I believe his opinions do not represent your views, I just guessed you didn't feel that was nice, however I was wrong. But again, the fact that you don't find that's inappropriate doesn't mean that it is all right.

...hmm and you just have to keep going on and on about it. Look at it this way, nobody says anything about nbalive.org until "inflammatory" comments (As Yohance said in the other thread) are made.
Andrew locks whatever topic looks like it is about to/or has become a little too serious and for a reason, so why don't we all just drop it and go back to not liking eachother quietly? (y) (And yes I know Yohance kept it going in that last thread, but I guess he has that privelidge.)

Actually my intentions were not keep the argument going on but explain Andrew I didn't mean Yohance doesn't have rights to complain.

I understand your motivation Scub, in locking the other thread I was hoping to put an end to the other argument - the decision was not made because of your post. I'm sure you already realise that, but I thought I'd clarify my position anyway. :)
