Monash University in Melbourne!!! Woot.
Wasn't there a shooting there?
good luck with it Flite....maybe something like UC-Irvine would be better than say UCLA....but I'm not a big city guy, so it's up to you....if I was doing it, I'd prefer to go to a college town, rather than a college in a big city....I just figure you'd immerse yourself more in the US college atmosphere....I could be wrong, that just what I'd do if I was you....
I'll definately look into it alot more, it's still at least another 2 years away. For me, I just love visiting big cities, and LA would be the ultimate - along with places like NYC and Chicago. Factor in the weather, Bruins basketball and the whole "California" thing and it would be really, really hard to turn down.

Well that's not UCLA or other fancy colleges, but I was an exchange student at UTEP in El Paso, TX (home of gay basher Tim Hardaway), and I also worked at NMSU (former home of Reggie Theus) in Las Cruces and UNM (home of Danny Granger) in Albuquerque, New Mexico. They all have some good things to offer, especially UNM (of course it's also one of the most dangerous campuses in the US but well...). Some nice experiences there, I recommend

I'm still in HS, just starting my junior year, but I'm pretty sure that I will go to CU at Denver and major in Engineering, after that probably transfer to Colorado School Of Mines for grad school. If that doesn't workout, my back up is Accounting.

I'm going to apply at Georgetown, Washington University in St Louis, George Washington in DC, Pepperdine, University of Washington, Boston College, and Villanova. Like I said, we'll see where I get in, I doubt I'll be accepted at the first two.

Nova is awesome, My sister goes there for field hockey camp during the summer, bitches are A+.
The college aged ones, I mean. Just wanted to clarify that lol.

Yea Nova is a pretty good college, decent looking campus as well (we Asians go for the school, not the campus

). Yo Silas, whats your reason from wanting to come all the way to BC? University of Washington is a pretty damn good university in itself.

Lol, I rate colleges by the welcoming committee, If you know what I mean...

I'm going into my senior year and I have no idea where I am going let alone what I'm going to major in. I just am not sure where to start looking. I had a rough junior year (about an 83-84 average overall) and I didn't really excel in any particuar subject. I got a 1270 (no including writing) on the SAT and a 24 on the ACT (shitty I know but I had to guess on a ton as I am a slow test taker). I think I am going to retake the SAT to better my chances of getting into the college of my choice. Any ideas or suggestions? I really don't want to got to UC.

Well I want to go to the east coast, I like it there. The problem is I'm more of a WSU cougar fan that a UW Husky fan, so it'd be hard to root for the Huskies at the games, though I'm sure I'd get over that in like 2 months but none the less!
But really, my first choice would be to go to DC because I want to end up there, do something in politics or diplomacy or something, hopefully. Obviously I don't really know what I'll be doing yet but I hope thats what it is.
I'm not really a hundred percent sure yet, I took a visit to Georgetown and George Washington and I liked them both, and BC seems to have similar things to those, and good sports teams, which is always good.
As for Nova, I don't know as much about that one as the others, so I'd like to know a lot more about it, especially since I may be going there.

He doesn't say he goes to Princeton. He says he goes to Princeton Law School.
Sun Aug 19, 2007 11:50 am
Everyone Wikipedia "Princeton Law School"

.
Sun Aug 19, 2007 11:51 am
Even better given Princeton Law School isn't even operational. Gotta love wiki.
But he didn't say Princeton Law School, he said Princeton School of Law.
Sun Aug 19, 2007 11:53 am
...which still doesn't exist.

I got that much too, but fact still remains Ben was wrong. How can you not be giddy in pointing that out?
Sun Aug 19, 2007 12:31 pm
Well, I knew it wasn't what he said, but I wanted you to search for "Princeton Law School" and get that wikipedia entry.
A "Princeton School of Law" search only returns the information in an academic article.
But I'll let you be giddy anyway, because your signature is always so relaxing. *kisses*
