The man who was once deemed too ugly for Real Madrid is now the man who seems to be their latest interest.
Ronaldinho's season began at a blistering pace which sees him currently leading the division's scoring chart with 5 goals followed by Real Madrid teammates Adriano (4) and Ibrahimovic (3). He has been the driving force behind Barcelona's undefeated start which las them leading rivals Real Madrid in the division on goal difference. His current form is deemed to have attracted Madrid's scouts as they were present in the stands at Barcelona's last match which they won easily4-0.
Reporters caught up to Daswell Davis, manager at Real Madrid, and questioned him regarding the subject in which he declined to comment. Fabio Capello did provide an answer however, he stated that "it is common practice for team's to keep tabs on their opponents best players. Ronaldinho is a world class player and we have nothing but respect for his talents but we still have to observe him frequently in order to discover something we may use against him when our teams meet. News that we are after his signiture is complete and utter rubbish."
Local Madrid fans are still optimistic that Davis can obtain his signiture but given his history the chances of that happening in January are slim to none. Davis has had a history of sticking with his squad throughout the entire football calendar year and has never sought out and signed another player in the January window. Also, it is important to note that following recent speculation linking him to Chelsea, Ronaldinho declared his loyalty to Barcelona and his intention to remain at the club as long as the Camp Nou giants want his services.

Real Madrid continued their winning ways with a 2-0 win away at Mallorca.
Real Madrid took the early lead courtesy of a brilliant strike from Joaquin on the right side off the box. The midfielder did well to take it on the volley after Ribery successfully evaded his marked and distributed an excellent cross. The keeper was lucky to see the ball come straight towards him but it came with such force that all he could do was deflect the ball into his own net.
Real Madrid then began to turn on the flair as Robinho cause the opposing defenders numerous headaches with his dribbling moves and quality one touch passes. He would later get himself on the scoresheet as he took a page out of Raul's book to score an amazing diving header. For a moment it looked like the ball was going over but a little body english got it under the bar.
Mallorca pulled a goal back with a goal in injury time but it proved too little too late as Real Madrid escapped comfortably with the three points.
