Lomu has turned down the titans offer; thank god! It would have been a stupid gimmick and Lomu would have seen no playing time whatsoever. I think hes made a good choice there.
In the aftermath of the league test (NZ vs GB), the Brits are blaming their loss on the stadium timekeeper, claiming he deliberatly speed up time in order to give the Brits no time for a comeback........
......GIVE ME A BREAK!
Tue Oct 31, 2006 8:05 pm
Well, they think they have a chance to beat us... I will put in my bet that the scoreline will be 40-4 to us, I pity them and give them a try
What do you think nzspurs?

Methinks the scorline will be a bit closer, considering the aussies form in the last game... 28-6.
Wed Nov 01, 2006 9:24 am
Big win nonetheless
I think Locky is gonna wreak havoc this weekend!
Wed Nov 01, 2006 9:29 am
Yeah Locky will clean them up...
Update: The Kiwis may be docked thier 2 compitition points because there is a doubt reguarding the eligiblility of Kiwi stand-off Nathan Fien. Geez Kiwis!! How did they manage to put an ineligible player on the paddock in the first place!! The selectors should get the axe!!
Wed Nov 01, 2006 9:35 am
That's what you get when you're kiwi
Nah man, just joking but bad luck... I agree... why did they select an ineligible player and let him play? stupid...
And nzspurs, this is sad, no league fans on NLSC
Sat Nov 04, 2006 10:12 pm
The English beat us

23-12... Gasnier injured didn't help and Smith at halfback... hmmm...
Sun Nov 05, 2006 5:00 pm
Good fight with Big Willy though, he put some real good hits on. Hindy played well as well.
As for the backs the young storm player had a good game, Locky played quite well to. I think Jamie Lyon played crap.

What a poor display from the kangaroos, really pathetic, it seemed Willie was more interested in landing a few on the Brits after his 1 match absence.
That win from GB now makes it even harder for the Kiwis to make the final, they must rely Britan lose thier last 2 matches and then qualifying on p.d. Hmmm, maybe there was some intent in this dramatic loss...

last nights game was terrible bad plays and coaching really. We better win the next game up in Brisbane by a good margin to get some respect back. Hopefully Hodges will go back to his more natural side as centre.
Mon Nov 06, 2006 9:07 am
Yeah, the coach got to put everyone back in their usual positions... it's like the Wallabies. They think they got the game in the bag so they gonna put people out of position and see how they play...
Locky was solid as usual
Mon Nov 06, 2006 6:06 pm
All the Broncos players have played well and consistant with being the most inform.
Mon Nov 06, 2006 6:50 pm
That's true... also probably because theres like 8 of them and they all play together and have just come off winning the Final. I'm still laughing cause Melborune didn't get many guys into the team.
Hey guys, you think we need Thurston on the team?
Mon Nov 06, 2006 7:36 pm
yeah thurston & Hodges back on the team, Gasnier is overrated
Mon Nov 06, 2006 10:05 pm
They need to fix their eligibility rules too... Steve Price is going to be eligible to play for:
- Australia...
- Englad... his grandparents I believe are English
- NZ... he's lived in Auckland for two years
And he hasn't played for Australia in two years...
At least he won't be playing international rugby any time soon but it just shows how stupid the rules are now...
Mon Nov 06, 2006 10:06 pm
yeah Grannygate addressed that.
Mon Nov 06, 2006 10:11 pm
Well, Aussies should win tri-nations which is good.
Then NRL next year, hoping the Bunnies will somehow do something... sucks they cant attract any talent and are just... Souths... a joke
Brisbane for the premiership tho!
Tue Nov 14, 2006 10:44 am
Big win for the KIWIS!!
Now, for the first time in thier lives, the nzer's will be rooting on those Aussies to overcome the hapless brits. On the other hand, the Roos might throw this game in order to face a weaker opposition in the final. Hmmmmm.
Tue Nov 14, 2006 10:51 am
You never know... I think we will beat those Brits
Fri Nov 17, 2006 7:08 pm
Locky seems confident that we can beat the Brits!!!
So hopefully we do, it's in Brissy after all
Fri Nov 17, 2006 8:59 pm

Fri Nov 17, 2006 9:05 pm

Nah, I'm too poor

Maybe next year... still, I'm not a big fan of tri-nation league... i prefer to go watch the Broncs instead...
dragon@4Q wrote:man this saturdays a big week in brisbane with the bullets vs wildcats and the test match aus vs eng this saturday then the ashes in 5 days
For sure! I'm saying Brissie wins in bball, we will get 1st place... Aus will beat the Poms in league but not in the Ashes.
Sat Nov 18, 2006 7:52 am
