It was a very tight match from start to finish as Romania looked like they could upset Portugal.

With Romania having a few good chances and coming oh so near to taking the lead, they just could not convert as both teams were getting frustrated for missing vital chances.

At half-time it was still locked at 0-0 and it looked like it could end that way, but, luckily for Portugal, in the 78th minute Luis Figos' shot was "punched" away but it hit the post and then it was a race for the ball as Pauleta got there first and tapped it in the open goal.

There was still a few glimpses of goal-scoring oppurtunities, but no team could really get them in.

Portugal will play against Scotland, in whom they beat 3-1 in their first match.

Brazil vs. China

- I can't see China getting passed this one espeically against Brazil.

Predicted Winner: Brazil

Cameroon vs. Argentina

- This is probably the match I'm looking foward to most. Argentina just scraped through the group stages and I believe Cameroon can upset them and continue their World Cup campaign.

Predicted Winner: Cameroon

Czech Republic vs. Hungary

- I do not know how Hungary made it past the group stages, but Czech Republic will be too strong for them in this one.

France vs. Denmark

- France will be the dominate force in this one, but I think Denmark can provide a good challenge for them.

Italy vs. Scotland

- I really do hope Scotland can win, but I just do not see them getting past the current World Champs.

- No comment.

Spain vs. USA

- Can't see USA getting past this one, espically with Torres, Villa and the likes in Spain.

Turkey vs. Switzerland

- This will be a close match between these two sides, but I think Switzerland can pull off a win.

Norway were a very underestimated side, but having players like Riise & John Carew, they came into this match confident of a win.

After a very tight first half, with both sides have chances but could not convert, it was locked at 0-0.

The first goal came in the 55th minute from Deco, who casually chipped it over the keeper to put Portugal in front and it wasn't even 5 minutes later that Andrade scored his first goal of the tournament to put his side further infront.

It would stay this way until the final whistle as Portugal make it to the Quarter Finals. Portugal 2 - 0 Norway.

Portugal will play against Italy, who beat Scotland 3-1.
