It was a very tight match from start to finish as Romania looked like they could upset Portugal.
With Romania having a few good chances and coming oh so near to taking the lead, they just could not convert as both teams were getting frustrated for missing vital chances.
At half-time it was still locked at 0-0 and it looked like it could end that way, but, luckily for Portugal, in the 78th minute Luis Figos' shot was "punched" away but it hit the post and then it was a race for the ball as Pauleta got there first and tapped it in the open goal.
There was still a few glimpses of goal-scoring oppurtunities, but no team could really get them in.

"It was a tough match out there for both teams" Luis Figo responded to a question about the game. "We really had to fight until the end to win this one"
Portugal will play against Scotland, in whom they beat 3-1 in their first match.

Yes, I know it didn't turn out the way I wanted it to because I now have to play against all three teams again, but hopefully after this it will run smooth.
