Shiet, my cousin just told me that today.
Thought he was joking.
I remember a few years I used to watch his shows.
Funny and interesting at same time.
Too bad this his life had to end this way.
My last smoke drag was for him today.

R.I.P Steve Irwin.

Like I said to my friend, at least it wasn't a croc that killed him.

RIP

Big Shock. Larger than life character. He was a risk taker but you would think if anything did happen to him it would of been something much dangerous as a snake or obviously a croc. Great Ambassador of Australia. Overall a top bloke.

Crikey! R.I.P Steve Irwin, Crocodile Hunter

Very sad to here this.

I always loved to watch his shows because of his interesting attitude and the way that he "communicated" with the animals.

R.I.P Steve Irwin.

Crocodile Hunter... rest in peace.
Dying from doing his favorite thing... sigh, can't believe he's gone. We need more people like this living, those who should die aren't dying! WTF.

RIP, I wasn't a fan of the fact that he made most of us Australians look pretty stupid but he seemed like a really nice guy, did alot of charity work, saved alot of animals and had a very young family. Really sad news (N)

Did nothing but good things. A great guy bites the dust. RIP Irwin.

This is sad indeed. I just couldn't believe when I heard. Wht a way to end a life, killed by stingray barb. He was a bit strange, but you couldn't not like him. RIP Steve.

I thought this was a joke also..cause guys who live such extreme lives usually don't meet their end in that way. However, like Matt, i'm not suprised this happened....some of the stuff he used to do looked nuts..thats why he was so famous. I didnt know much else about him...but from what you guys are saying..he was a good man. So R.I.P. (Y)

R.I.P.

Didn't really know the guy but he was in some (annoying) phone store commercials over here.

Luckily there's still Wildboyz (no funk99 that doesn't mean I'm wishing death on him)

I thought he was invincable with the way he consistently handled all of those animals.

Always sad to see someone leave behind a family, even if I wasn't a fan of his show.

Tue Sep 05, 2006 2:10 am

R.I.P. Steve Irwin I heard about it this morning in the news :(

Tue Sep 05, 2006 2:16 am

Just read this and I must say its very sad news. I remember my cousin and I used to watch his show every Saturday morning when I was over at his house and I was a fan for a decent amount of time. Very surprised that of all things it would be a sting-ray that would end his life. All well. Rest in peace.

Yea, but it's where he was stung that got him.

R.I.P. Steve Irwin
I didn't know alot about him but one thing I do know is that he loved animals, something that not everyone does.

Tue Sep 05, 2006 4:52 am

"Crikey! That's a bloody riper of a croc!"

Oh Steve Irwin, you were awesome.
You'll be missed :(
