The X, maybe my NLSC Live dynasty isnt original, but i believe i have more players in it (29) then anyone around and im not sure if any other all-nlsc live dynasties have made it to the postseason (or at least played 30 games).

I tried adding a twist to my FIFA dynasty with the Brazilname thing....even though the downside is that its FIFA 02 with shitty levels of ratings and no stats other then goals. But its not like I can drive to the store and get fifa 06 (I'm only 14). Also did anyone realize that ALMOST THE EXACT SAME PLAYERS appear in this dynasty. (aorund 14 or 15 of those 17 or 18 on that roster wree from my thing).

Sit had thought of the idea of this dynasty around last saturday, when i had told him about the news i heard of my uncles death that morning. Until everything was straightened out, I had told him that I might have my FIFA dynasty on hold for a while. He thought of this as a sort of way so I dont have to continue it, even though I had no plans of stopping the dynasty. For those who think that this had nothing to do with it, you are wrong. If that was the case, Sit would have told me about this dynasty before I had told him of the recent death in my family.

Before you say "you should be thankful that someone stepped up and made one of these in honor of you", I might be selfish, but i like having the label of being the ONLY one to make a FIFA dynasyt with all nlsc players. But what the fuck, I'll take the competition that i have now.

Meh cmon, so what he made a FIFA NLSC Dynasty? Its not like you have the right to not let him do it.

On topic: GG vs Madrid.

Jamie Xi Scores Late Winner
Bradford City Reserved Players Win 1-0

Bradford City 1 -- Nottingham Forest 0

Right: Super Sub Jamie Xi scored the late winner

Reuters -- Bradford City’s coaching staff felt the need to see its reserves in action and allowed them the chance to start the game while resting players already having made the starting squad.

The game against Nottingham was a sloppy affair and the pace was very slow. Both teams found it hard to set up attempts at goals.

The most significant event of the first half was debutant Grant’s hard tackle on James that earned him a yellow card. After an even slower start to the second half, Bradford subbed some players into the game including an experiment in using striker Will Sit at full back.

Jamie Xi scored the breakthrough goal after stealing the ball off Southall and then getting into the box and launching a shot into the back of the net.

Several Players making Strong Bids to Play
Milani Strikes First But Bridges Helps Team Pull Off a Draw

Bristol City 1 -- Bradford City 1

Left: Substitute Milani heads the ball into goal
Right: Bristol City celebrates as they equalise late

Reuters -- Bradford City started the players that they think will start at the beginning of the season but the team showed everyone that they very badly needed game practise.

The City defence was solid behind the leadership of Watson and the flair of Andres Munoz and Alex Sotirov. The attacking players were poor though as Ruf, Bakovic and Barnshaw made silly decisions on several occasions.

The second half was no different as Mark Moore missed a shot on the counter attack. His attempt as he went one on one against the goalkeeper went over the bar. That marked the decision to let some reserves take to the pitch and it yielded a great result as young Jacob Milani made his first career goal off a header thanks to a Buckley cross in the 70th minute.

In the 87th minute, Bridges of Bristol City got his team back level as he made a thunderous strike- catching keeper Pera off-guard.

Blackpool Holds Onto Win Thanks to Early Goal
Bradford City Trying to Figure Things Out

Bradford City 0 -- Blackpool 1

Blackpool players celebrating their goal

Reuters -- All it took was a defensive blunder in the 10th minute to sink Bradford City as they returned home to continue their up and down preseason. Blackpool dominated the home side and got a goal early thanks to Southern and held Bradford from making any serious threats to the score line.

The Bradford strikers played poorly as the midfielders failed to connect on passes. Subsequently, Bradford never posed a threat to the visitors and rarely got the ball to the other end to have any attempt on goal.

The ref didn’t help either as a goal made by Mark Moore was called offside. Manager Eriksson wasn’t happy with his team’s performance, “We are currently playing out-of-form and we need to capture that form by the start of the season. We need to start winning and scoring soon.”

Striker Will Sit returned to the starting line up after a few games playing at full back but looked out-of-sorts as he and forward partner Moore fumbled passes all too often.

Leeds United Stunned By Sit
Striker Will Sit Turns In a Hat-trick!

Bradford City 3 -- Leeds United 0

Centre: The ref talks to the hot-headed Flo Ruf
Right: Sit finished the night on 3 goals

Reuters -- Things may be looking up for Bradford City as Striker Sit returned to form with a convincing performance after scoring three goals. Bradford looked on top of their game for the first time in weeks and is brimming with confidence.

The game started with Mark Moore looking as dangerous as ever, taking the ball and striking it twice towards goal. Unfortunately, both shots hit the crossbar but Bradford City made their intentions clear to Leeds United.

Sit scored off a header that resulted from a Barnshaw chip in the 36th minute. Defensive Midfielder Jing Xu came dangerously close to scoring as he launched a shot just outside the box a minute later. The keeper stopped the ball and a lighting quick Moore tried to tap it in but it went just wide of goals.

Bradford City dominated on and off the ball in the second half as Sit scored after latching onto a Flo Ruf through ball in the 67th minute. Nick Barnshaw gave the crowd a hint of magic as he somehow dribbled through 3 defenders before being brought down a feet away from the box. Mark Moore’s free kick rattled the crossbar and Sit took the chance to pounce on the rebound and score an easy tap-in.

This game was arranged by Eriksson who was hoping a game against a second division team would help awaken his star players.

Bradford City Turns in Second Win
Barnshaw at His Best in the Nick of Time!

Bradford City 5 -- Chesterfield 1

ImageImageImage
Left: Bailey loses control of the ball on his goal line
Centre: Larkin and Hall celebrate Larkin’s goal
Right: Mark Moore blasts the ball past Bailey

Reuters -- Midfielder Nick Barnshaw was being criticised for his poor performances over the off-season. Last night, he gave it his all and produced some magnificent football before getting a second yellow card late in the game, then being sent off.

The Aussie midfielder opened the scoring for his team in the 6th minute thanks to his wizardry. The Chesterfield players were then continually abused by his fantastic dribbling and ball control as Barnshaw seemingly walked through and picked apart the defence with ease. He was lucky to not score 3 goals as 2 of his shots were saved by Bailey.

Mark Moore and Will Sit made the most of their in form compatriot with a double by Moore and a goal from Sit to complete the 5-1 trouncing of Chesterfield. Larkin’s goal in the 45th minute was no consolation compared to the result at the end of the night, which was only aided by Bailey’s own goal in the 18th minute.

Mark Moore’s long range shot hit the crossbar and Sit had went into to tap it in. However, the striker fell over the ball and as he stood up, Bailey made a malicious challenge, lunging at Sit. Sit was thrown to the side but Blatherwick fell over on top of Bailey. Bailey then let the ball slip out of his hands and into the goal.

Manchester United Win 2-1
Final Pre-Season Game Played

Bradford City 1 -- Manchester United 2

Left: Nalgene protests against his yellow card
Right: Van Nistelrooy scores from the spot

Reuters -- The Bradford City Bantams are getting ready for a big season as they aim to win the League One title. The reserves sure made a big sound as they took on Manchester United overnight with several reserve players making bids to start on the first team.

The first half was poor as Bradford gave away two goals but came back to play a much balanced second half. Russian star Ivan Shchipans pounced onto a through ball from Milani and scored from the edge of the box sending the crowd into a collective roar. Manchester United didn’t seem to care however as they easily kept Bradford at bay and won easily.

“We had to dig in deep for that goal so it is consolation for us,” Manager Eriksson said, “This game shows that we have what it takes to play against Premier League teams.”

Van Nistelrooy started Manchester’s scoring with a penalty after being tackled Valkonen. Wayne Rooney then made the most of a Ronaldo cross by heading the ball past Keon in the 45th minute. Shchipans then scored in the 69th minute.

Bradford City will now finalise their squad and look forward to their season opener.

Jamie Xi Loaned to Nottingham Forest
Talented Striker to Get More Playing Time Elsewhere

Reuters -- 14 year old Jamie Xi will be spending time working his trade in League One football. A day after being listed as being available for loan, the young striker has agreed to join Nottingham Forest for the season.

After the unexpected move was made, Bradford City made a statement about the reason for Xi’s loan out of the team. New manager Eriksson said, “Jamie Xi is a very good player who will no doubt learn a lot more and play a lot more on a different team. That is why he’s been put out on loan and we will make sure he gets to the best team where he will get to play.”

On the other end of the deal, Nottingham Forest released their own statement. A Nottingham spokesperson noted to media, “We are particularly happy and proud to announce that Jamie Xi will be joining our team and we expect him to start in the first team within the next few weeks.”

Xi played well during the Bantams’ preseason fixtures and gave Bradford City an energy player off the bench and an option on the counter attack. The striker from Australia has recently been announced onto the U-17 Australian National team and is the youngest player on that squad.

With the number of older strikers in Mark Moore, Will Sit, Conrad Burry and Ivan Shchipans; Xi didn't look like he would be getting many minutes. That is what many believe is the reason for Jamie Xi's loan.

Hey Fellas... I was hoping you would tell me what formation we should play? ie. more forwards or backs and how many mids, etc...

That will be all...

What I'm thinking is playing either 3-5-2 or 4-4-2

What u guys think?

Mon Sep 04, 2006 2:57 pm

I play a 3-5-2 on FIFA 06 aswell, works pretty good. Maybe even a 4-1-2-1-2?
