Other video games, TV shows, movies, general chit-chat...this is an all-purpose off-topic board where you can talk about anything that doesn't have its own dedicated section.

Hehe, I didn't mean you're a bitch because you're "rich", I mean you're a bitch for going the Mac way.

They're so pretty though! I've done a lot of research and I'm convinced that the Macbook is the best bang for the buck. I am still sort of uneasy about the whole changing the OS thing but I do have some experience with Macs.

Whatever you decide to choose, just make sure Marcus Williams doesn't "borrow" it

You can't go wrong with a Dell notebook, but...
my girlfriend was telling me about the Mac laptops and they're excellent as well (assuming you're using it for school and not for games). And yes, they are pretty.

I'm not sure where I heard it, but I heard it somewhere so I share:
Guy 1: OS Mac is just as good or even better than Windows.
Guy 2: It is?
Guy 1: Hell yeah! We've got a task bar just like you Windows users, we've got niceer looks and everything OS Windows can do, we can do. There isn't a thing we can't do with OS Mac that you can do with Windows.
Guy 2: Alright, right click.

Thank god they have two button mice for the Mac these days, otherwise I'd go crazy.

No you guys are just wrong... My arts teacher say "Go Mac Today, you don't have confusing right clicks, you hit the mouse with four fingers."

If you dont mind doing some work, you can get Windows XP running on a Mac. Google "dual-boot hard drives" for tons of resources. You'll also need to pick up some partition software (Partition Magic...) to seperate your hardrive.
This is a bit cheaper than buying that Virtual PC 7 crap. Either way its going to cost money, but the latter will be more expensive.

I've got a Acer Travelmate 370. It's okay, but it sucks major ass as I've had it for 2 and a half years.
But it only weighs 5.5lbs/2.5kgs which is good for my ultra thin frame.

I've heard about something called "bootcamp" that does it but it's free?
