The price sounds pretty good if you ask me. $900 is a bargain IMO for the things you got.

Was that an insult that I sound like riot?
When Halo 3 comes out, the price of the 360 will eventually increase, even if a little bit, because of the demand for the game. Don't wait for Halo 3, just find the right time and price before the game comes out.
i'm still playing halo 2 to this day, it never gets old

I got myself an XBox 360 the other day & it has been nothing but problems....dodgey DVD player has scratched up my 2nd copy of NBA2k6 in the last 2 days....will be taking console in on Thursday to swap it....lucky I got a 2 year extended warranty on this sucker..
Burnout Revenge - $80
I also bought 5 XBox Halo's & 10 PS2 Gran Turismo 3 for $12.50 each & then traded them in for approximately $15.50 each so that saved me $45....so I essentially out of pocket about $755, but that includes a warranty that a lot of people normally won't get, so it's essentially a $680 buy....
I'd be estatic with the system if I didn't have these problems, so I would suggest that people watch out for their systems scratching their games....I think I just got a lemon, but will swap it & should be fine, hopefully....
I've only got a flat screen TV that runs on 60Hz....graphics obviously look better than XBox etc, but aren't mindblowing IMHO....they're nice, but nothing that makes your eyes pop out....if I had a good TV then I might have a different opinion....
since I don't have broadband at the moment, I can't really comment on XBox Live....I will likely get into XBox Live around the release of NBA2k7 when I will move places & finally get some broadband for the net....in the meantime, I'll get better at 2k games as I suck at the moment....completely different from Live & definitely more difficult IMHO....will require tinkering with sliders as per usual & playbooks, but game really has a nice base....would be good to see some better dunk animations though as some are horrid

Matthew, I'm not overly impressed with Burnout Revenge so I'll probably swap it for another game on Thursday when I swap my console....haven't really decided on what for....any suggestions, aside from Call of Duty 2 (which is already on the list)....

It's not too bad, haven't played it heaps yet cause I'm finishing off exams to. So I won't go as far as recommending it at the moment, I'll give a review after some more playing time. I'm going to pick up COD2 later in the week as well which I'm looking forward too.
On a shit note the TV I was going to swap with parents is now a 'no-go'. My mum doesn't want to make the trade which pissed me off a bit. So now I have to fork out a couple of hundred $$$ for a LCD monitor. SO I'm hoping I can loan a bit off my folks and pay the rest so I can get it this week. I can afford a 19 inch widescreen at the moment, but I'm thinking of paying a little more for a 20 inch w/screen which is about $490. Whats even more annoying was I had to by the S-video cables for my current TV (which won't play NBA2k6) which cost me $35, but now I don't need them. INstead I'll have to fork out another $35 to get the VGA adapter. What a f@*king waste![/rant]

Matthew, there's a good chance I'll get Madden '07 as I wouldn't want a Madden without dynasty mode....my brother wants me to get Fight Night, graphics look great but boxing games bore me....I've heard good things about Table Tennis as a multi-player but I might get that when it's real cheap (I've seen it for $60 at Target)....not sure....it's a tough call as I don't know what I really want for that 3rd game behind NBA2k6 & Oblivion

Just giving some advice because i have had numerous problems with old LCD's. Fight night is an awesome game btw. I wouldnt have thought that i would like it, but it turns out its now one of my favorite games.
