Tomorrow's the last day of high school for me...

Thu May 18, 2006 10:54 am

'08 for me, but I'm going to stick it out for another year and graduate in '09. It gives me time to take a phys. ed. course every year. :)

Thu May 18, 2006 10:57 am

That sounds like what I did, Cable Guy. Except I graduated in 05, with all my friends. When you live in a small town I think that is important - I have been with the same friends literally since preschool.

I graduate in a couple months. I think we're done in November (Y)

I moved to a new school for grade one, but since then I've had basically the same friends. I don't know how many of them are planning on coming back for an extra year though.

Yes, this kind of sucks. I had a few friends back for first semester. It is much worse without friends, second semester, I am the only one left. However, it's given me the opportunity to meet a lot of new friends, and girls, which has been great - you get to start over with a semi-fresh slate and not have the same reputation. I am now one of the cooler kids in the school  If you can though, I would recommend NOT staying for the second semester.

Thu May 18, 2006 12:38 pm

Yeah, I wasn't really planning on it, unless maybe if I did co-op.

You? Popular? No, it couldn't be. :P

Thu May 18, 2006 12:53 pm

Well, it depends on your defintion of popular. Like, today, I was wearing my pants with the big hole in the crotch. I had my meshy black gym shorts underneath. So I pulled the shorts through the hole, like a flimsy black weiner. Then, I went up to grade 9 girls, who are around 4 years younger than me, and said "Hi, my name's Cameron." One of them told me to go away.

You see? Coolest kid in the school.

I'm kinda thinking about staying another year so I can come out of the class of '08 just so I would have a better chance of getting recognized as a D-1 prospect, but so far its just a small thought, especially the fact that I'm not really trying to go to the NBA anyway at least not as a player. Plus, I'm ready to leave HS anyway and maybe just become a walk-on somewhere if I didn't get any letters from schools I'm interested in.

Damn, I still have a long way.
