And I was going to post that this is old. Guess I'm a bit late.
For anyone who gets the Extreme Sports channel, they still show this sometimes.

and those trampolines seem ab-normal they've got so much hang time, compared to a regular trampoline. If anyone has Fuel TV is it on that?-that's an extreme sports channel

He may have landed on the padding so i guess it didn't hurt.
As what the others have said Slamball has been around for a long time.
Looking at the clip, it's more fun to watch now that they've allowed tackling while outside the trampoline area. The clip's Limp Bizkit background music made my ears and head hurt.
Pat Croce, former Sixers president, is one of the initial promoter/founder of Slamball, I think. He even used to promote this when he's being interviewed while watching Sixers games (he wasn't the president anymore).

A cool one was when the guy jumped REAAAL high, then he missed the facial on the guy, then cought it with his other hand and hammered it.

Oh my god... I love Slamball so much. MOB was my favourite team by far. Sean "Inches" Jackson was like the Allen Iverson of Slamball, and Stan Fletcher was the Tracy McGrady.
Kobe's dad was the coach of the Diablos, I remember.
In the spring/summer, a few of my friends and I raise a basketball hoop to the highest ( the one we use goes to like 12 feet or something for some reason) and put a regular trampoline under it and we play 2 on 2 (and that's so crowded) 21 ('American') and have dunk contests and all that fun stuff. We should be setting it up pretty soon this year.
Edit:
They still have a website for it.

That looks pretty fun, but bit too rough. Seems quite easy for a fight to start with that level of contact.
I don't see how you could possibly coach something like that.

slamball owned, did they stop it cause of poor ratings or all the injuries?
Thu Sep 04, 2008 10:04 am
Man, I used to love Slamball.

Nice to see it back after such a long absence. Used to watch it all the time on SPIKE.

man this is like NBA Street real life

I've seen ads for it on Foxtel, seems it's going to be shown here as part of the Fuel TV lineup.
