Comments: Jug's background is extremely messy and the text really doesnt go well with the background, and that almost transparent jordan in the background really doesn't help his cause. I aint exactly feeling those lines on CK, but the theme of it was great, and its pretty clean cut and really shows the peak of jordan as he went out.

Winner: Jae
Comments: CG's was really mucky, it came off as a smudge dark pic, he could have done a bit more with that dark side. Jae, i think you burned the Jordan a little too much, but it helps to make him really stand out. Also the backgrounds on CG's dont match well due to the weird thingies on the left side and dark on the right.

Matchup: Axel vs TBD
Winner: Axel
Comments: Both I felt were really original pieces of work. Axel showed the magnitude of the Magic-Jordan matchup, they are like taking over the city night. TBD presented one of Jordan's best quotes and an inspiration to all. His drawing however was nice, but didn't reallly resemble Jordan. Axel's just came off a little bit more well-rounded.

Matchup: Peachy vs The G.O.A.T.
Winner: Peachy
Comments: I know GOAT was trying to go retro, but this is about MJ, not AI. The problem with Peachy was that his image gave off a really dirty feel. Perhaps because he was trying to go for the retro look, but then he would have done better in black and white. As for GOAT, there needs no mentioning.

Matchup: Null17 vs Colin
Winner: Colin
Comments: Both were pretty well rounded out pics, though I originally chose Null because in Colin's submission, I later noticed that Null's submission was just not original, everyone has used that effect Null had used behind Jordan. Colin's was a little bit more original, and his picture looked better without the glow.

Yeah, I was going for a 'plain' sig that was just something different. I brsuhed up MJ to give him that cartoon look and then did some pen tool work. Weird that the repsonses haven't been that positive at all, becuase it's been pretty well-liked by other forums.

Its kinda small so I guess its hard for me to see the finer details (ex. the cartoony look). A bigger version would be nice.

Perhaps if I post the same thing without the cartoon look.

Colin, just because you don't get many votes doesn't mean it's not good. I REALLY like your sig, the style, creativity, but for me it's not the best sig in there.

Sorry guys, I would have voted hours ago, but I went out for dinner then to the Raps game tonight. I'm surprised my sig went over so well, I didn't think it was that good. This week was tough because of the lack of pics available. My vote went to ... uhh, I voted before I left ... oh yeah, TBD's, because it's original and different from the rest.

its cause its a lot simpler tha what you normally do. IMO jordan's left arm is too jarring, it messes up the whole look.

Finally! I've been waiting for this moment.

Jugs: Funny stuff, but the type quality sucked. Has potential, but too much blue.
CK: The outline is a no-no, and the blue against the red is too conflicting.
Cable Guy: Very nice, but the gradient is a little too early as it kinda washes his face out.
Jae: Well done, but boring. Try positioning him to the left or the right, and emphasize typography a little more.
Axel: Interesting and nostalgic. It does have an 80's feel, but it's depressing like the 80's.
The Black Death: Nice illustration, but it's just too plain and boring.
Peachy: My favorite one. I love the feel, but you might want to use a little more contrast and get rid of the border.
GOAT: Booo!
Null: Very, very cool, but it's dated.
Colin: Very cool, but lacking text and contrast.

Yup, might be too much of a contrast, for me it was worth taking the risk, but yeah. And the (black) outline was needed because of the forum colors, no outline look eww.
