But you'd really have to be an ass to some how get yourself burnt by a grill lol If u can manage that, u deserve to be burnt.

When you are cleaning it while it's sorching hot, things can happen.

my friend works at an In 'N Out (which is only on the west coast), and one of his coworkers put a hot spatula onto his arm. The dude just came outta nowhere and put it onto my friend's arm. His coworker was then fired after a few days.

You pretty much get minimum wage, if you get a little higher you are considered lucky. The work is pretty damn hard (even though it's pretty much brainless work, it's hard work) and there are a lot of injuries that occur in fast food restraunts. Plus, you have to work with minorities.

yeah we had like a slide kinda of thing that you just take a scrap and scrap the grease and shit to to the slide, which takes them to a trash, and then you throw the meat on there an cook again.

Have you ever tried to tell a Mexican who speaks limited English that it is his job to clean the restrooms? How about telling him that you need a #6 WITHOUT mustard? How about giving him simple instructions like go dump out the grease? I practically have to spell things out to them and you don't have the time to do that.

Basically. Minority is pretty self-explanatory. If your a minor part of society, and you are most likely unappreciated or aliented from the majority. So in Riot's case, he's talking about the Mexicans, Asians or other foriegn people who don't speak english too well.

I don't see how it's prejudice. He's had experiences where he can't understand what they're saying, or they can't understand what he's saying. Why should anyone have to "deal with it" when instead they could learn English properly instead of reducing the quality of work by not being able to speak it. From what he said, it's not that he can't understand their accent or whatever, they just flat out don't speak English.

Personally if I was moving to Mexico or any foreign country the first thing I'd do is learn their language to an acceptable level. I don't understand why this is seemingly waived when people move to English speaking countries.

What if you were working at a fast food place in Mexico with a bunch of Americans who didn't speak Spanish? It's lunch time and you have a lot of people in line waiting to get their food and place their orders. You have a lot of tables that need to be cleaned so people can eat at them. However, 75% of your work force struggles to understand ANYTHING you say and there is a large communcation gap between the two. Wouldn't you get pissed off at those Americans coming in and not learning Spanish? Wouldn't you get frustrated that they don't understand you? I think you would.
