Number 8. When I was creating a myself in NBA Live 98 (my first one) I couldn't think of anyone with the number. Then the next few days, seeing as I was looking for it, I found out about Kobe and Employee #8. I kept it regardless.

I'd use 25 because that's my ultim8 pwn number, it's been my basketball jersey number since I started playing ball 8 years ago.
#78 would be my second choice because of wanting to be different.
I've also worn #4, #8, #5 in other leagues so I could also choose them.

Number four. Not sure why, I've just always liked the number and it's the one I wore for my whole career in the junior leagues over at Broadmeadow Stadium.

It's not possible in Europe Basketball to use #1,2 or 3 because the referee indicates those numbers when a player is shooting, and so he would not be able to indicate the number when the player does a fault like he does for the other numbers (#4 to #15).

I had #7 for my whole basketball 'career' up until last year when someone snatched it before I could get it, so I was left with #9, which I didn't like very much, so this year I was planning on getting my #7 back, but the jersey is too small this year, so in respect to Kobe, I moved up one to #8.
