Anyways I have 2 phones, I don't really care why I have them or whether I really need them, they're just there and they come in very useful. Why does anyone have an iPod? You don't need 30gig of music to walk around with, you could probably easily exist with a portable CD player instead that only cost $30. It's just one of those things.

i feel sorry for the parents of the today. before i used to bug my parents to buy me a remote control car. nowadays kids are asking their parents for cpus, ipods, Xbox 360, cell phones

I don't dig iPod's either, I don't even have a total of like...2 gigs of music on my computer. I have them all burned to cd's.

The phone I have has space for a 512MB/1GB memory card, I just upload the songs from my PC to that and just walk around with that. Tis quite handy.

I had quite a nice remote control car when I just moved to Curacao, man, that thing would zoom around all over the place. Around the time I was leaving, I had assembled my own fuel powered one. Sadly, I had to sell it. But man, that thing really scared a lot of people at the beach, that thing was a monster. It chugged gas like a monster too.

I wanted to assemble one over here again, but yeesh, the prices.

I loved my remote control cars. They got a bit too expensive though, to the point where I wanted some $400 petrol fuelled thing that did 80km/h when I was 10.

I'd pay no more than $80 for that phone.
-The color looks low quality.
-Didnt say if it had a camera or not (probably not).
-It doesnt have bluetooth.
-Doesnt support MP3s.
-Doesnt do nething! Compared to my phone neway .

I dont use my phone for calls much, mainly to recieve them or let my mum or whoever know where I am or where to get me.
But I can also use it to take photos or listen to music, and I think $400 AUS is a fairly good price to get a phone that can be substituted as an MP3 player or Camera.

That's the ones I had starting off too, although I didn't have rechargable batteries, I just had to keep saving for new ones. With a 5 guilder allowance and batteries costing like 4 something, that was kind of difficult.

I got one RC car which needed like 8 batteries when I was 13 for Christmas, sadly that car was for indoors only & I went and drove it on rocks & pebbles. It bust open the battery case & all the battery "oil" or whatever that fluid is, leaked out & got all hard. I got to use that thing for one night.

The fuel ones are cool, they cost a shitload but they really are tons of fun. On the island there is a special race track where you could compete and all. But as I said, costs too much to start it all over again, I was checking out prices over here & the remote control I had over there, costs a "mere" €90 over here. For the remote control ALONE.
