Whereas the DS can even survive the everest!

personally, hand helds are not that great because u always gotta be careful with em. and they cost so much too, where you can buy something like riot said for a lil bit more ande have it MUCH more worth it.

hm.. people should try someone to test the xbox 360 and ps3 on everest.

How insightful. Spam. Flame. Bleah whatever. I was merely commenting on the fragility of PSPs. Ugh. Why is it that I must fear posting anythin Nintendo related? It's annoying. I might as well put XBOX sucks in every single XBOX post from now on.

Well, Nintendo in general is a crappy company.

Like jxuusa said, handheld systems are a waste of money. Whether it is the DS, Gameboy, PSP, Game Gear or whatever. I don't care if it is an Xbox Portable, I'm not going to spend $200 on a system that's games can hold about half of that of a regular system.

But then again, it's all about preferences. I travel every once in a while, so having something portable on plane rides are convinient. I don't however, like the fact that the PSP attracts fingerprints like sugar on an anthill.

See I travel on planes for LONG hours, so a handheld system is essential for me. (Also the number 1 reason why I didn't buy a PSP...It won't last the 20 something hours that it takes for me to go from US to Australia!) Plus the DS has Mario Kart, Phoenix Wright, Castlevania and Advance Wars. I think I play the DS more than GameCube or PS2. (Thanks to Mario Kart online.)

Why exactly do you need to constantly travel with a plane?

Well coming home from college basically. I don't travel frequently (I said I travel on planes for LONG hours...not frequently or anything.), but I usually have to travel a whole shitload of hours when I do. Also since I have mileage with Korean Airlines, I have to actually go through Seoul first, then go to Australia...It takes me around 2 days (counting the waiting in airports and shit.) which leaves me very very bored. It's not that frequent, but I guess if I add my mileage it's probably bigger than most of the people in this forum.

I cant see a PSP breaking unless you have kids, youre careless, or you try and mod it and turn it into a brick with some kind of virus.

Far as fingerprints... I usually wash my hands after I eat and I don't see why anyone wants to touch the screen anyway.

Sure it doesn't have the graphix of newer consoles... It fits in youre pocket. Its something that you have to give up.

Far as the price I think its a decent price I seen all of theese Mini LCD DVD players cost alot also and they don't play games.

I noticed the other day if you buy 1 game for it and a Gig memory card. You can get any game you want on it for free off of news sites.

So really I don't see any problems with it at all.

Can't you buy a Power Plug for when you ride in a Jet???
I never been on a Jet before so I really got no idea what they have besides what I see on movies. Headphones and a TV.

The DS I played was alright but I really don't care for the more cartoonish stuff. Thats just me though some people like Mario being in every other game.

Hell, who doesn't need a fat little plumber to hold close every now and then?

Woot, get the PSP in 2 or 3 days now.

I just thought of somethin... Run my tv-in on my pc and run WinDVR to record whatever is on. As it records it onto a file I can watch the file over the network streamed to my PSP. After the TV file gets to big it just cuts time off the first on the file.

Endless TV with the PSP.

I wonder if im the first with that Idea...

In Australia it hasn't dropped yet, it's still $399.

I'm only purchasing it when it drops down to $150.

You can do all this with a laptop, and also last 3 more hours than a PSP too. Plus, the games on the PSP are not good at all.
