America gave Saddam a chance to step down but he didn't. America told him to disarm and show us documents or something accounting for all the weapons he "destroyed". He refused. The United Nations admitted that Iraq has violated over 12 UN sanctions. What did the U.N. do? Nothing. Why? Because a lot of European countries were illegally trading with Iraq (especially Russia). They didn't want to take Saddam out because they were making money off him illegally. U.N. did shit about that, too.

You've heard my say numerous times, the United Nations is a joke. Which is why I think Bolton in the U.N. is such a great move because he will try to CHANGE the U.N. where it is actually effective. The problem with the U.N. is it has no power. Kind of like the failed experiment before it, the League of Nations. Nobody has to and will listen to them. I actually want America to pull out of the U.N. It's a complete waste of time and resources.

Anyways, the War in Iraq IS justified. Even if they don't find WMDs or they didn't have WMDs they did have prohibited missiles that have been found. Not to mention the war crimes Saddam's regime has committed. So the war wasn't pre-mature, if anything it was too late.
