In the zoo only, we went with school, it was more of a learn about Costa Rica than adventure thing. Although we did have fun trashing the rooms and the times we went out for dinner were cool. But I think it'd take more than 5 days to get to know a place.

Venezuela anyone? No, seriously, don't go there. Mug city of the world. (I'd made a thread bout the places I'd been too, I've been to quite a few places within the Caribbean.)

I went to Venezuela on a cruise. If you think the mugging there is bad, go to some of the poorer areas of Barcelona. They know every muggers trick.

EDIT: By mugging, I was thinking pickpocketing...

I'd go to Prague, it's a beautiful city and they have really cheap beer and hookers too. (Y)

I would say Vancouver, but right now it isn't exactly prime time for it. Come during the summer and hit up the beaches and stuff or come during January/February and hit up the mountains.

May seem 'unexotic' or whatever, but I had the best time in South Beach in Miami of all the cities I've been too. My fvaourite holiday was a Caribbean cruise (I'm going on one during Spring Break if you can hold out that long and chill with me. :D ). I would suggest that if it's an option, it is pretty expensive though. The island of St. Maarten was also beautiful.

I agree, I've only been to Italy, France, England and two neighbour countries, Germany and Belgium. Seems like it's still a pretty big list, but the countries around here are a lot smaller than Australia.

Of course. Its in Northern Thailand. It's a good place for Tourisms to go. There are alot of Monuments and Wat ( Temples ) there to go check out. Hot weather over there. There are Thai handicrafts originate in north Thailand, and you can visit factories and shops that make and sell almost everything. Best of all, it is quite affordable. Also while your there in Chiang Mai, you'll most likely ride on a elephant and they will take you around and show you the great scenary if you into that kinda stuff. Is that all your going to Jugs ? Not stoppin by Bangkok. That's where the party is at

I'm going to Chiang Mai with my school for 8-9 weeks, i'll be visiting Bangkok for like 3-4 days or something. Yeah so chiang Mai will be my main stay for the 8-9 weeks, and in the itenary is Elephant riding and making thai handicrafts and also learning how to do massaging

How about Auschwitz in Poland? It'd be an interesting experience and perspective of the Holocaust, but that's not quite the dream vacation

My family isn't rich, they just both have jobs that travel a lot, and they value the experience of seeing other cultures, so I aways came along.

Colin, I liked Vancouver when I went, except when I'm going on a trip anywhere in the world, I think I'm going to venture from North America. :)

And Cy, I've been to Poland too.

Does that help? Or is that not what you're looking for? If you're going in June/July, you can crash at my grandparents' place with moi.

Indy, given that you've travelled a lot, what's your top 3 favorite cities?

2.) New York City
3.) Lisbon

Jackal, if I do choose Curacao, then we should hang out.

I can't imagine what the great Jackal may be like in person.

As I am online, a turd.

I don't think you should settle for Curacao only, if you visit the Caribbean, go to a few islands! (If all is well, my friend should still have his boat, we could just go with him to Aruba & Bonaire!)

You'll go to Ljubljana, Slovenia. Did you notice how I didn't write 'you have to' or 'you must'? That's because you'll do it. Why? Cause I said it. It's a great town, chicks are hot and it definitely a good mix of Western and Eastern Europe. Plus, I'll get you drunk every day/night and force you to sleep with ugly chicks. That's funny. To me.
