One thing I don't like about this Civ game is that the different religions have no specific bonuses...Probably they did it to be politically correct, but still. At least have some different bonuses or something?
Also...is there any purpose of using priests in foreign cities?
Yeah, to be politically correct, but they all work the same way. Using priests in foreign cities spread religion, if you get your priest or whoever onto a foreign city, you can click on the "spread religion" button, and your religion will be added to that city. I think it contributes to the foreign trade, or increases gold to your city, plus giving the additional chance that the foreign country will convert to your religion which means better diplomatic relations, and a possibility that the city will defect and join your country.
What are the main differences between these 3 games?
Empire Earth II goes through from the dawn of civilization to present day/future, and Age of Empires III is a colonial "new land" game where you're connected with Great Britain as the motherland. Both those games are real time, where you have to work fast to move and build and explore, against the computer. Civ IV works the same way as Empire Earth II, except it's turn based where you make your moves, and when your turn is done, the computer makes its move, etc.
