15,000...kind of ridiculous, when you think about it.

Other video games, TV shows, movies, general chit-chat...this is an all-purpose off-topic board where you can talk about anything that doesn't have its own dedicated section.

Well done Spamdrew.

j/k

Anyway, congratulations. (Y) Of all the communities I've been to you're like one of the best. Being loyal to the game, keeping up good relationships with the posters, hosting patches for others. You even helped me with some stuff at 4th-Quarter. Thanks man! Keep it up. (Y)

congrats Andrew :chug: (don't mind that, Jackal is picking up the tab  )....was surprised by the shoutout, but appreciate it all the same....I think the work you do around here is superb and I could not think of a bad thing to say about the site's overall day-to-day running/admin....I'm actually an NLSC viewer from 2 different generations (Tim's generation back in Live '98 & '99 and now the generation led by you)....I agree with what you say about the patching competitiveness, but in the end, human nature overrides everything else....

either way, I could go on but enough babbling from me....time to pop another one on Jackal's tab on my behalf

Congratulations Andrew :chug:
You're doing an incredible job on the site, and if it wasn't for you, I recon this place would consist of 14 rap fans discussing how stupid EA are for not having 50cent in every song in the game (see EA's official board). The amount of work you put into it is just outstanding; props to you for doing this, and in such a great way. I fear the day you give up the position, since it will probably be the start of the decline for the nlsc. Hope you stay around for many years to come.

Thanks a lot for the shoutout also, I really appreciate it. :)

Wow, i remember when 1000 posts was big.

I don't know how somebody can have the mental capacity to manage a site so thoroughly after 3, 4 years or whatever, but you've definetly shown that it's possible. And I want to thank this chance to take you. ()

Also we've never really talked about this, but there's always been that nbalive.org/NLSC head clash, where i get the feeling you think i don't (or didn't) like you/NLSC... so i wanna also take this chance to say that i've always considered NLSC my homie... Err, home*. I loved NLSC and still do even though i don't post here that much anymore. (what a convinient time for me to do my monthly nlsc browsing, huh? Right for this milestone) I still believe the 2 sites should merge their awesome-ness. Whether you gathered it from me or not, i really appriciate what you do.

Anyways about that ""robotic"" stuff, somebody has to do it, to keep everything balanced. So keep it up. Also it's refreshing to see the non-"robotic" posts from you too. :)

Keep on truckin', Andy pandy. (i think i promised i wouldn't ever call you that again in 2002/03. :P)

I don't really know where to start. At times I've loved you & at times I've hated you. (Hmm, been there, done that eh?)

Thank God I can say that I really do lean more towards the loving than the hating at the moment. You've eased up a lot. People of now might not realise it because they just take pretty much everything as it comes but given I'm somewhat (read mucho) nitpicker, me & you have had our share of spats to put it mildly. I appreciate the change and really appreciate your willingness to put up with the shit you have to go through, because of folks like me. Because I know you do, you've mentioned it via MSN and I truely do appreciate you still managing to tolerate me with all the ramblings and what not.

One of the many reasons the NLSC is home opposed to anywhere else. The tolerence. This is one of the qualities that makes you a great administrator, tolerant, willing to be involved (well, demanding to be involved, :P ) and ofcourse the abilitiy to change.

The shoutout was very very nice, I could never really tell how you felt bout me since the whole thing but reading that I can honestly say without any doubts that me & you are alright. (Y) I was still quite afraid of you and used to just pass my hopes on to you via Matthew. Reading whatever you wrote was quite comforting to say the least.

Anyways, since OSF complained about not being mentioned, my tab is wiped & goes out to him. Hah. [Braveheart voice] Freeeeedom!!! [/Braveheart voice]

Given my tab has been wiped clean, from here on out the drinks are on me. We'll manage to pay it off somehow, even if I have to do Andrew's dishes & laundry.

Closing off this little memory mushy mushy crap, I'd like to say congratulations on 15000 posts & thanks tons. Don't worry bout me leaving, I might say it but we all know I've made a mockery out of the word retirement.

Take care man & post on. :chug:

I can't add too much to what everybody has already said. You're a great poster, probably the best person we could have as an admin here.
Thanks fot the shoutout, and get us the beers (this time goes to OSF, right??) :bday:

Sorry to disappoint all those who feel I'm doing a lousy job and truly hate me (sidenote: if you truly hate me for the things I do running an unofficial fansite for a video game, you're wasting your time)

And you got like 15050 posts now, keep it up (Y)

I'm gonna consider merging accounts with Jona, since you replied to one of his posts and put me in the shoutouts

i can't say i appreciate all the work you do since i only peruse a few sections of the site hehe. regardless, from what i see, you do a great job, andrew.

it must take a lot passion & patience to run a site w/o pay and where a lot of 'minors' visit. you have my respect

i don't personally care about those spammer/android comments. in fact when we do see you flash your non professional side, like the Zo joke, it makes the joke much more funny hehe

remember: in any management position, you can't keep everyone happy.

thanks, congrats, go bulls, and keep on posting/administrating (Y)

He should go back to the Simpson character he had, that's how I used to and still tend to imagine him.

Don't ask me the name, I don't watch the Pimpsons.
