only thing about vancouver is the chances of your car getting stolen or broken into is pretty high. doesn't matter if it's day or night ;)

Santiago, where I live!! One of the greatest places in South America, although everybody hates it, I LOVE it.

And Miami, I have lots of family over there and there are lots of Latin people. (Y)

It's actually an official thing. I could only find a link to the story at that little site, which does seem kind of dodgy.

Yeah, I meant the actual list was dodgy. They just seem to clump random cities from one particular country together when they get bored, there's like 3 German places in a row.

That would be because of ratings that have to do with the country that the city is in.

I've been there a few times and I agree, my grandparents used to spend their winters down there. Ever spend time in Tempe? It's like a suburb and has a lot of ASU students (or whatever uni the Sun Devils are.) Nice place.

Nope, never been there but when I went, I went to Flagstaff to see the Grand Canyon, Tuscon which was one of my favorite places, went through Sedona and I went to Scottsdale. One of my favorite vacations of them all and the Grand Canyon is the shit  Can't believe I was close to something that big

Yeah, they update the list every year or something.

And mafia, I've been through all those places too, just never saw the Grand Canyon. Even though I've been to Phoenix something like 5 times.

I'll say my hometown of Newcastle, though it's not as exciting as the big three of Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne. I know Jae has other thoughts on the matter, but it is a great place to live. As far as tourism goes, it can't match up with those three but it's a good place to stop over for a day or two. Port Macquarie, Byron Bay, Surfer's Paradise/The Gold Coast are places I'd recommend visiting, especially Byron and Surfer's.

I haven't been able to travel overseas yet, but am hoping to go to England, Europe and the USA some day.

Try it.

I'm interested, could you enlighten me more or give some details like how to get money? Pimpin? Dealin? Part-time work? Tell me how?

I play in a band that charges 200$ a gig. Which means, 30$ to me per gig, plus 4-6 gigs a week... Good money.

I don't quite understand  If you make $30 a gig, and you only play about 4-6 gigs a week, are you saying you make about $30 a day?

I'm feeling a tad under the weather (result of excesive partying) so I thought that I might as well see how my old forum was holding up.

Other than that... all the wiggers amuse me.

I make 30$ gig, which is around 120-180$ a week. But this is only right now that i'm out of school... During school we made no giggs.

I live in sydney, and I must say winter is a terrible season to be here. When its cold its fine, but when theres a breeze its like you're in canada.. not good.

But Summertime and spring is the best time to spend in Sydney, the nightlife is great.. everyone walks around in shorts and tshirts.. substantially less for the females, always something to do as long it isn't at darling harbour.

There's always a good band to go see in places like the superdome, metro, horden pavillion , enmore theatre.. etc.

I gotta agree with Matt the road infrastructure here is terrible, we always seem to build freeways, but if some1 hits a dog it causes gridlock.. and everyone just turns off around the toll gates.

Hypocrite. How come partying without finishing school is considered as a waste of our lives but just because you finished some meaningless educational program (which also is a waste of our lives given all you do is get spoon fed stuff from books & don't really have use for on oh so exciting backpacking adventures), you're deserve it?

Shove it, you nincompoop.

On the subject, have you finished making that shrine to Pavel yet? We've still got to get that gold plated Buddha sorted and delivered to the site. The library is done, I called around but I can't find many bookshops that sell pretentious psuedo religious garbage aimed at making anyone who doesn't follow it's teachings look inferior. I guess I'll check Amazon.

everything from my side is ready. the biggest hurdle though is booking the enlightened one, himself, for the opening.

it's too bad cool guy came back, it ruined glove guy's great thread

back on topic.. i don't think it does a city justice to explain a short stay there in one paragraph. for vacation spots.. i definitely recommend sin city, las vegas, especially during memorial day or labor day weekend.

mostly everyone is there with the same attitude: party and try to get laid. poolside at the hard rock cafe is the best during the day. it's a meat market out there and everyone knows it.

and if you dig stipclubs, during the holidays it's the best. all the hot strippers head over to vegas because there's tons of money to be made for those weekends. and the best thing about that is you try to hook up with these girls and get them to meet you at a club or afterparty later in the nite.

and there are women of all ages, not like mardi gras where mostly 16-college freshies are there.

the only problem is privacy for the non-exhibitionists. if you're staying with a bunch of friends in a hotel room and you hook up with some girls, after the bedroom & bathrrom, there's isn't much privacy left

and then there's the sportsbook....
