There are so much more school shootings in USA than in Sweden it would be ridiculous even to start comparing.

Just because the world press doesn't give a shit about reporting news about Sweden doesn't mean it's the haven for peace, don't make it sound that way. Atleast not when there was a shooting just 3 days ago. :lol:

You can't really compare it like that considering how many dive-by shootings there are in the USA (per day)...
Of course we have violence here in Sweden, and lots of it, it's just that the ratio difference between USA and Sweden is enormous. You can't deny that there is a large difference in how many (violent) crimes there are in USA per citizens compared to how it is in Sweden (many other places as a matter of fact). USA is probably the leading nation in the world in that category.

By the way, we actually did have a school shooting here a few years ago I believe...

I know it's not very compareable but I dislike the way Filip said it's quite a common thing, he almost made it sound as if every student that goes to the school in the US is a Colombine shooting waiting to happen. "It's normal." No, it isn't normal, show some respect & I'll show some respect.

Offcourse there are shootings incidents in Sweden too (I have never said there wasen't), but we don't set world records in shooting eachothers like USA do.
And school shootings are really rare here. I can't recall once anyone has been shot to death in any of our schools (sure it probably has happend, but not fucking near as many times as in the USA).

Unlike USA, 40% of the population don't own a gun here.

The reason why the world press don't write much about Sweden is because it dosen't happend much here (atleast not when comparing to other countries).

I've never tried to glorfy Sweden or anything (you're the one how broughy my country up), I've just tried to say that USA is dangerously country (11 000 ppl die there each year by the gun) and that I would take any school threat there seriously.

Fact remains that you made it sound as if it's quite a normal happening, as if the people don't even care that shootings happen at schools.

About the world press, nothing really happens in Sweden so that's not an issue.
