Is Star Wars teaching morals?

Other video games, TV shows, movies, general chit-chat...this is an all-purpose off-topic board where you can talk about anything that doesn't have its own dedicated section.

yes, sit. the story of anakin can be interpreted as a moral lesson. lucas has many things going on- there are many references to certain religions, mythology, and even society & politics.. and probably more

anyone catch the animated series that were shown on cartoon network? i heard they were suppose to be a bridge from episode ii and iii (and another money maker). they are available on the official star wars site. i was thinking of ordering or at least get the 'free' version.

lighsaber goes, "pffft"

Yep, air gordon, I've seen it all! It was created by Dexter's Lab animator Gendy Tartakovsky. It's a good watch if you see it in one sitting because Cartoon Network showed each 10-minute episode separately. I watched the "special marathon." :)

*some spoiler*
Mace Windu took down a whole base, alone, using the Force and also destroyed some fighter ships. Yoda damages 3 gigantic carrier ships only by manipulating them, used the Force. hehe
Good to see that the bad-ass mechanical Sith Lord, in the cartoon who collects lighstabers of the Jedi he kills, will be in Episode 3.

I think the actual actors did the voice-overs in the cartoon.

George lucas is gonna film a spin off star wars tv series based on teh period between episode III and Episode IV. Since that is teh longest period of time between movies. The series is gonna be about smaller characters of teh star wars films.
