No worries Tony, that's all behind us now - thanks for the comments. I did realise the error with Vince Carter after the banner was done (I unthinkingly took the screens using default rosters), but it occurred to me too late. I'm sure we'll make a new banner sometime in the future, probably before we change colour schemes or the whole layout.

everythings blue...i hope we are not sad...although i'm a black kinda guy anything the majority likes i like it too.....refreshing....its summer here in our country and this is really cool looking..

Blue is also supposed to be a relaxing colour, so if you're looking for a mood to associate with the new design I'd pick that one.

I like the light blue and PiksS I had the same problem, just refresh everything until the buttons change.

Sorry to hear you don't like the new design Dweaver. A few people made the same complaints about the red design though (that it was too harsh), which was one of the reasons we went for blue; that, and we were trying for a retro look with the black and the blue.

blue is easier on the eyes than red IMO. plus the shade of blue is kinda soothing to the eyes

to the works for the main page that was superb....it look far better than the NBA website itself....DW dont complain too much....having red all over the place has an unconscious effect for people to be war freak.....the blue color as andrew said can be soothing and relaxing......anyways i prefer a black and white scheme but that would look old school...to the new colors we have good job

I like the frontpage design, it's just that when I sit in front of a cathodic tube display ( yup, no TFT screen yet for me... ), blue gets to my eyes... especially light blue... and those are doctors' words, not mine...

Guess I'll make due with what we've got, no?

Although I see why people would like a darker blue, I must say I have no problem with the current blue, looks cool. I have a CRT monitor as well.

We already have. You might have to refresh a couple of times before they show up. After I uploaded the images, some of the old ones were showing up here and there.

Just playing, just playing. Andrew & Andreas, you took all my whining & bitching in stride and came up with one helluva design. I have no complaints whatsoever. I like this blue, a darker shade of blue would make it a bit depressing. Maybe even "amateurish".

Anyways, glad to see the designs been implemented, now let me enjoy it by visiting the other sections.

I like the new design. It's simple yet appealing. How old was that "red" design anyway?

I hope the blue fonts would be darker though. The present blue font that we have right now is kinda pale, plus it gives me the impression that all the links are visited because of the softness of the color. Just stick with the different shades of the color, blue.
