I suppose name really doesn't too much..
The skills of the player is much more important..
If he's as good as Jordan, no matter what kind of name he has..
it always sounds good...
so dun worry too much bout names..

Anthony Kobe
If he's a good basketball player people will get used to his name and it will sound good no matter what it is unless it's one of those really long European names like Kerilioanoiinaoincinko. Even then he'll get a nickname like AK-47.

Just give him a unique name, like Kobe. Kobe didn't catch on because it was a good name, it's because everyone liked Kobe, and thus his name caught on. I bet if you named your son Bart and he became the next MJ Bart wouldn't seem to unusual now would it?

So Stansbury is the best? Is it ok that both names, the first and second ends with -y?

What's the best first name, in your opinion? Maybe we'll replace it too. Just post it!

Yesterday, when I started this poll, Rockwell had a lead, but recently, I see Stansbury dominates. And yes, Stansbury is one of the best possible surnames. Anyway, I'd like to ask what comes to your mind, when you hear 'Stansbury'? Does the first name Anthony really fits to Stansbury? What about the fact that Anthony Stansbury both ends with -y? Does it sound ok?

if the first name stays as Anthony, I think Anthony Robeck is better than Stansbury (even though I voted for the latter)....

Chris Jesus . middle name: Divine

Anthony Stansbury: The boy will most likely grow up to be an Angela Lansbury fan

J.R. Phillips . "Dynasty" reference

DaMarcus Robinson: Very 'ghetto' and 'gangsta'

DeShawn Hopps: Da kid has hops!!!

Joe Smith: The generic option

JoJo Gatlin: The "Barbie" reference

Anthony McArthur: The future star: A-Mac

Broadway Gillmore: For East coast lovers

Actually, I've been thinking about Anthony West. Sound quite good.

But Lucky Snider seems to be out of questions, cause kid will always think he is lucky, although he may be not. It will make him less motivated in life. In addition Snider is kind of german stuff (like Shnyder ir Shmidt), so people may think he's a german or something in some cases, though we need people to see him as a real cosmo boy.
