- I Wan going to convert this into a sig for another forum but never got to it.
- Was going to use for another forum.

This is the first time I kinda like my own work, what do you guys think?

Simple, clean, I like it. Just try to cut your images better. The avatar image still has some white around the head.

I made a background that's not done yet.



Because I'm a helpful guy, here's a quick tutorial for lightning (like the blue lightning in my BG)

Create a new image - any size.

Hit D to restore colours top default (F-Black, B-White), then use your gradient tool on default settings and drag it across your image roughly horizontal.

Now go to filter > render > difference clouds

Now hit shift+I to inverse your image. You should see bright white lightning down the middle.

Now you have lightning, but there's too much white around it, so hit ctrl-L to bring up levels. Drag the black arrow on the slider to the right until there is just a thing strip of white with a bit on the edges.

Paste this as a new layer onto your image and set the blending mode to screen.

If you wish to colorize the lightning like I did in my BG, hit ctrl-u. Check the 'colorize' box and change the saturation and hue to your liking.

j/p, I used tutoirals to learn how Photoshop works and to make my first few sigs. Plus, I like how you used those two efects together. It looks good

I just finished a new Tupac sig (yep, another). I kinda like this one. Can you guys rate this on a scale of 10?


What color would look good with that? Olive?

I would give it a 5-6. The font is horrible imo, a better font selection would help a lot, along with a different font colour. The cropping needs work, especially on the far right picture. Put some contrast on the main picture to make it stand out more.

I would use something simple or a script font in a white or very light colour. As for the cropping, look on the far right pic, his elbow was completely cut off.

Look a lot closer, that line is the cube in the background. The rest of the elbow is there, it's just at maybe 6% opacity.

yeah i had to do a lot of *COUGH*Reasearch for that signature. Hard stuff but it payed off.

The resolution couldn't have been the issue, I run on 1600x1200. And yea better, and yea that's what I meant.

I meant how I'm running 1024x768 on a small monitor, but if I pick 800x600 I can't see all Photoshop tools.

Limewire is a pirating program, its absolute crap though, lots of viruses. thats why i use Bitorrent

I tried Bitorrent or some kind of torrent to get "A Basketball Game" but I never could get it to work
Nor did I know what I was doing either, anyone in here nice enough to make a copy or send Photoshop to me somehow?
