true....his got some major speed and quickness on him....but hes really tiny and that'll make him useless at corners...but none the less he truly is a classy footballer...
England have alotta youngsters comin up but they need a good keeper....David James isnt international quality imo....they need another Seaman.

n he has a brother too....but hes still learning....Wright Phillips that is...

Martyn's playing for Everton I think, he's getting very very old though... I think the future of English goalkeeping lies in guys like Robert Green and Paul Robinson. I can't see why they don't play them more to prepare them for the next WC instead of David James who won't be the GK by then.

Wright -Phillips reminds me of a flashy version of Paul Scholes, which isn't a bad thing.

yeah Im very impressed by Green.......Robinson can be a bit casual and careless at times.....James is prolly one of the worst english goalkeepers ever....

oh yeah and another pretty good keeper is Richard Wright.....but hes injury prone...

Wright's backing up Martyn I think... there's that other young keeper that Liverpool signed from Leeds that looks promising, Carson or something.

yeah Scott Carson...he made his debut on saturday against the Magpies...Robert drove one stunning free kick....I doubt anyone could have stopped it...but other than that he wasnt really tested so Im not quite sure how good he is....

Geez, Arsenal gone and Liverpool through?? That's a surprise, although the only way Liverpool will most likely get into the CL next year is if they win the whole thing. Which I assume is impossible.

The Gunners always choke in the Champions league......I dont see them winning it in the near future either.....

But Liverpool is a suprise......the only English club thats through....weird considering the season in the EPL they had so far.

Lyon smacked Werder Bremen......that was a horrendous performance by the german club......

I think the favourites now r AC Milan n Juve.......Bayern r the dark horses n well if Inter get through they might have a chance of sneakin through and getting the title....

AC Milan will win because they are the only 4 star team in fifa 2005 besides arsenal

I'm not 100% convinced on AC Milan but we'll see, alot of it depends on when Shevchenko comes back from injury. I'm hoping Inter can go through, despite the 5 billion draws they've had a good run in the Serie A and for a while were the only undefeated team. Juventus are a dark horse I think, everyone knows they're good but I'd say teams would underrate them a little bit these days, well maybe not after knocking out Real. Liverpool is going to be a very interesting situation, in the sense that they'll probably be gone next round. I don't think Morientes is eligible so that's a blow, their strikers are going down like crazy.
