I really hope you're joking

No Jae, it's true....I think my best year was 2nd year uni, and that's when I was 19....great times....the next year was pretty good as well, but yeah, downhill is right....get a job (yep, have one), get a life (hmm), get a wife (not yet), get a mortgage (yep, just got one), start a family (I'm in no rush, I like having spare $$$'s)....

there are positives though although I won't list them at this time

i know you were kiddin' but it's still kinda true  i don't really care about it being locked. you can do anything you want

What is that expression, there's always an element of truth to any humour?

Nah, i'm not going to lock it, it's been pretty spam free and good conversation so far, may as well leave it, I guess.

Sigh, my birthday's not till September. the big 1-8.

Sat Feb 19, 2005 6:12 am

18? Cammo, I thought you had like 21 :P

Sat Feb 19, 2005 6:14 am

I guess that's good then... I appear older than I am. Unlike a lot of people on this forum *cough*Lankyman*cough* :D

Yeah, I'm just turning 18 this year ;)

you can traffic it anywhere and if you ain't caught you are a free man....

Sat Feb 19, 2005 1:23 pm

I'm turning 20 in October... this is not good. I have to invent some form of machine to prevent it from happening. I'm too tired now though, so I'll eat this cake instead (Y)

Sat Feb 19, 2005 2:06 pm

Actually I was just kidding, things are fine in your 20s...though The X's post makes me think there's a slide into oblivion that I'm narrowly avoiding.

Sat Feb 19, 2005 2:38 pm

haha, it's not too bad....although once uni finishes and the real world hits in, that's when the slide happens....nah, the slide is only bad as you let it be I guess....

I'm 23, almost 24, so I'm getting on a bit compared to most of you youngins....I think I was G.O.A.T.'s age or just a little older when I started playing Live '95....

anyway, Null, happy b-day, let the slide begin  j/k (or am I?!? :? )

and Jae, you said you were almost 20, I thought you said you were going back to school or grade 12 or something....did you mean uni as I was 16 when I started grade 12....hmmm

Sat Feb 19, 2005 2:47 pm

Jaes doing a course for Grade 12 cause when he came to australia he never finished it...

And I think that it wouldnt too bad to be in your 20's... as long as u have a chick to spend ur days and have a steady income or something I would be a happy guy! But when u get to 40... and have a midlife crisis... dude that would suck!

Sat Feb 19, 2005 2:53 pm

okay, that explain's Jae's situation....I think my mate who's like 25 is considering doing that....but he's all talk, it's good Jae's going back and doing it

yeah, at the moment is basically just living for the weekends....work is just there to pay the bills and provide some material items (ie. the red sports car) and facilitate weekends and holidays....

I'm off to a cocktail party for some girl's 25th tonight....that's what you guys have to look forward to....instead of beer bongs it's cocktail glasses....I still wouldn't mind if they pull out the beer bongs at these parties and downed the cocktails through it (Y)

Sat Feb 19, 2005 3:14 pm

well... maybe i will be looking forward to beer... although wats so good about it? can someone tell me???

Sat Feb 19, 2005 3:20 pm

 is an acquired taste....I know I didn't like it when I first starting drinking it, but drank it cos I was a poor student and it was cheap....I don't know anyone who really like  off the bat....

I prefer spirits myself....use to be bourbons when I was a late teen, but now I'm in my 20s I like scotch more these days, like johnnie walker, chivas regal, etc, etc....

but back to  , I prefer premium  stouts like Irish

word of advice, don't drink too much  as you'll pile on the weight....

now that my lesson is over, I can return to my normal activities....

Sat Feb 19, 2005 3:30 pm

lol... i notice that it must be an acquiired taste... lol

oh well... i onl got 2 years left until its legal!

Sat Feb 19, 2005 3:32 pm

wow. this thread has actually turned into something useful. like a growing up thread or something...

and the x is right, beer ain't too good right off the bat. it's kinda like soda, with the bubbly things, only it kinda tastes bitter esp. if it's warm...it's still good for loosening up at parties though

Sat Feb 19, 2005 3:41 pm

arggh, warm beer :x bloody Pommies, what are they thinking?!?

and Sit, I don't think you'll last till your 18....from what I remember, grade 12 was a year of parties, study was a distant 2nd....but I think u r still in grade 11 so u still have time

Sat Feb 19, 2005 3:46 pm

nah man... im in 12 man. Our grade is ok man... we're not as 'social' as last years seniors. Now my friends grade last year were the eyar of parties... the whole grade went to the same parties... this year i think the focus is on work and leadership...

Sat Feb 19, 2005 3:51 pm

 *booo, hiss, booo, hiss* (N)

ahh well, I guess my grade was kinda similar....I didn't hang out at the "cool" parties as they all smoke a bunch of old men's cock for money in public toilets....

I mainly went to other school's parties with my group of mates....great times....most of them are still back in NZ, will have to head back next year and have a  for old times sake

Sat Feb 19, 2005 4:20 pm

I definitely agree that beer is acquired taste. There's sort of a phase where you don't quite love it but still want it rather than spirits - which are of course, more expensive.

Sat Feb 19, 2005 5:09 pm

ahhhh the spirits. now we are talking. get your kidneys in shape my man because living high above the 20's mean taking in the wines/rum/whiskeys and gins. :chug:

Sat Feb 19, 2005 5:34 pm

Probably already past your birthday...

But happy birthday mate (Y)
