They did not have it in to rent once again so I took the chance and went ahead and bought it. So far it is alright, but I need to not play it so much or I will get tired of it quick. I got it at 8 p.m. and played until 3:15 a.m. (7 1/2 hrs.) lol I had nothing to do. I remember when I bought Fight Night I thought it was gonna be real cool but it sucked ass just like all boxing games, so I wasted $50, thats why I am so uptight about buying certain games before I test them out for myself, except Live & GTA.
You can jump over a ball rack, dumpster, ladder, table, speakers, and a huge trophy (I mean it is seriously huge

) I dont find it near as fun as Live's Dunk Contest, its just not as much to do, and you dont know what you are doing, just moving the trick stick around and adding up combos. It is alot easier to get gamebreakers I found this year. You can rename tricks, and there are alot of them too. No user profiles

and no All-Time stats either, just Single-game records. The Street Challenge is alot better (Career Mode) I didnt play Vol. 2 so I dont know how it was. But like others have already said, you can choose between which games you play in that day or night.
There are 70 days and you play 2 games everday. One in the day & one in the night. Each win adds up your Rep (reputation) and losing does just the opposite. If you release a player and then play against them they consider it a Rival Game. If you win one of these your Rep goes up more than in a regular game. There are regular games to 21, No Gamebreaker games to 21, No Trick Point games, Only Dunks count games, 1st Gamebreaker wins, Trick Point Games (first to 250,000 or 500,000) and a few others also.
There are tournaments that you can register for or decline. There is a registration fee which is usually from 50-250 SP's (Style Points I think) So far they are only 4 team tournaments, and they are single elimination so far. The manual says something about an NBA League after you get so far into the game and get your Rep up so far. I havent gotten to that point yet. I am 27-0 right now in all of the games, it is pretty easy to win, I play on the Medium level. Easy-Got Game, Medium-Mad Game, Hard-Legendary Game.
I have most of the courts unlocked. You can create your own court as well. From the color of the pavement, to the condition of the pavement. Whether it is fresh looking or old and worn out. You choose what type of lines, like the color and how they are painted on. Playground lines, NBA Official lines, or International lines. You choose the thing the holds the goal up (Stachion I think?) You choose the backboard and the net. There are alot of different backboards. You can get 2 different chain nets, the cloth net, plastic net, worn out or torn net, and the Red White & Blue net. You can put a variety of logos on your court. The Center logo, and alot more. You can choose your surroundings as well. Whether it is a schoolyard, the west coast, east coast, south side, facotry, park. You choose the banners on the walls, and can even put up banner spots that werent originally there. You also choose the seating of your court. Low-a few chairs, Medium-a few more chairs and steps, High- chairs steps and bleachers.
There are alot more clothing items and jewelry to add to your Baller that you create if you chose so. Alot of chains, watches, earrings. Hats, beanies, skull caps, headbands. Sweatbands, armbands, braces. Tatoos, jerseys, T-shirts, tank tops, or no shirt. There are NBA jerseys, hardwood classics, legend jerseys, plain jerseys etc. NBA shorts, hardwood classics, legend shorts, plain shorts etc. Lots of shoes and you can create your own shoes as well. I have yet to create my own shoe so far. You also add stats to your Baller, after each win you get so many SP's and you can use them to add on to your Baller's stats, court additions, or tricks.
Anymore questions I will add here
