Yes, and also for the Toronto Raptors. But I think he only made the Raptors pre-season team.

Ive read a couple of years ago, that the only reason both teams signed him was to draw more fans to the games. Not because of his *game*.

As low as Kobe Bryants street cred might be, he's not THAT bad. In fact, his flows alright. I was kind of impressed when I saw him on that "NBA: Read To Achieve" celebration about six years ago. He did a song called "K.O.B.E." with Tyra Banks, and although it sucked, it was because of Tyra's God-awful chorus. Really, it's not bad at all.
