Pff...fuck that shit.

Anyways, isn't there some sort of mod that allows an administrator to see who hasn't logged in for over a certain period of time? If there is the NLSC should consider implementing it.

Jackal, why are you every time so angry? :P

Anyway, the mod Jackal suggested exist, as on .org forum, you could see in the member list the last time a user registered. Implementing that feature would be great on NLSC, then after a certain period Andrew could delete users that never login, it would free some usernames that could be taken by real contributors

I'm not angry all the time...just most of the time. That's not all of the time.

Since the mod exsists, Andrew should consider implementing it.

It's nice to have 7000 users but if only a handfull contribute and 50% of the quiet ones aren't even logging in anymore, then I say that those 50% ought to get themselves either A) Deleted or B) the person who is active should get the inactive person's name.

Yeah, maybe NLSC should add a new rule (or what you will call it) that will by automatic delete members that have been unactive for 2months or something like that.

I think 2 months is a little bit harsh, just because guys like Stevan who are on holidays for 2 months or whatever could be unnecessarily deleted... maybe 4 or 5 months, but I definitely agree this thing would be good to impliment.

Yeah, true. But what about members who haven't even post their first post, they probably won't post after 4 months either.

Well yeah if the post count is still 0 after 2 months then I think they should go, but if they have a certain number of posts or whatever then maybe extend it a bit.

Er not necessarily, some people may register just in order to read the forums, they take advantage of the show new messages since last visit feature.

That's true, but really it's a bit of a waste... I mean the idea of the forum is for people to post and actually contribute in some form, not sit there and watch. Maybe if they knew there was a 2 month limit they could just make 1 post every two months to keep their account alive.

Or maybe you should be able to register as A) Poster B)Voyeur. Then we can count voyeur and poster as two different kinds of members :)

meh, it's too complicated. Just delete users that hadn't logged during the last 6 month, and it will make some room for sure Image

Dont count Andrew or the Mods, cause its thier job to post and do stuff at the forums. People who just post to be number 1 and when the reach that high post count and make a thread called "1000 Posts" are the ones i am talking about.

Well...

I made a 1000 posts thread
Jackal made a 3000 post thread
Andrew made a 5000 and 10000 post thread
Filip made a 1000 post thread
Pretty much everyone who has made it to 1000 has made a thread, and you know your gonna do it too. :)

I didn't make thread because I don't pay that much to my post count and when I looked over it was 1100, a little to late for a thread but I will prolly do a 5,000 one when I get there.

I guess after 1000 it kinda loses its purpose... I'd rather see the "2 years here", "3 years i've been here" or stuff like that...

I'm in for 1,000 5,000 and 10,000 posts thread... 8-)

Most of us have adapted to this idea, I know I'll be doing a thread on the 20th of March, yeah they'll bitch and whine, but I don't make the threads for them, I make them for myself, I like to know I've thanked the people who've been around & have been friendly and have not changed when they were bestowed with a bit more of a responsible function.
