Other video games, TV shows, movies, general chit-chat...this is an all-purpose off-topic board where you can talk about anything that doesn't have its own dedicated section.

Why do all of my threads wind up getting off topic????
Thu Dec 30, 2004 1:58 pm
What other threads are you referring to? THis one was my fault, I'm sorry, I seem to be doing that a lot lately, and if your other topics are my fault too, I'm sorry.

Almost every thread goes off-topic
Fri Dec 31, 2004 1:06 am
Yeah, if threads stay on topic they seem to shrivel up and die. Just look at the "I cannot believe my starting 5..." thread. Completely had no topic, but it lasted for ages.

damn you Stevan
on another off-topic issue.....i accepted the offer to play as the GSW in my Dynasty....i won 3 straight championships with Detroit, the last one had a kick ass starting 5
C Duncan (lost 3 guys to get him) 88OVR
F A Stoudemire (FA pickup) 84OVR
F R Lewis (FA pickup) 82OVR
G R Hamilton 81OVR
G C Claxton 62OVR
i won 44 straight games and finished 71-11 (would have finished 74-8 but simmed last bit of season). At one point i played 30 games with out my starters, i still won 26 of those games despite the highest rated player being 62, everyone else was under 60. With my starting 5 i beat Indiana by 87....on average i won by 40ppg and scored 40 fast break pts per game. Got bored so i quit
I Rule!!!

where the hell did this come from???
Fri Dec 31, 2004 11:30 am
From the idea of being off-topic
Fri Dec 31, 2004 11:54 am
OK i guess we should use this thread to talk about everything other then what it was orginally about . KK lets see how long we can keep it alive with useless post.
Fri Dec 31, 2004 12:09 pm
Not long.
My Utah team on Live 2005 after 4 games:
Okur
Boozer
Kirilenko
Giricek
Arroyo
Only trade I made was to bring Sweetney over from NY, he's averaging 9/5/2 off the bench. Kirilenko is a monster, he had like 43 points in his first game but slowed down since then. Boozer is averaging 27/14 through the season but we're 1-3
Fri Dec 31, 2004 12:34 pm
My Pacers team after 1, 264 games:
PG: Yao
SG: Shaq
SF: Yuta Tabuse
PF: TJ Ford
C: Boykins
Fri Dec 31, 2004 1:25 pm
You should get KG and play him at his natural position, and Yao to come off the bench
Fri Dec 31, 2004 2:18 pm
what KG pg in natural postition....don't you know anything about basketball, KG can't play PG....thats not his natural position
(and so the greatest thread ever was born)
hey, its new years today, cant wait for this crap to be over with....i need sleep
Fri Dec 31, 2004 3:29 pm
I actually traded Kirilenko and Boozer for KG just because I got bored. I'll start a new Dynasty sometime soon, one that isn't so boring.

I could play him anywhere I wanted to actually, and isn't PG his natural psition?
Sat Jan 01, 2005 2:01 am
Yeah it is, because he's just so fantastic at playing that particular position. PG.
On another note, fingers crossed that Earl Boykins will start at C in the All-Star Game
Sat Jan 01, 2005 1:10 pm

He was actually my write-in for the real all-star balloting

i'm the in-house dr. phil. that made me laugh

Well, jus to let u know Dr.Phil, at this day n age, 12 yr old know pretty much everything, n this world is quite disgusting at that age. The world is turnin for the worse, n more girls r becomin sluttier n younger. Its becomin quite the unpleasant thing to hear. Parents need to start bein more strict n need to pay attention more.
Sat Jan 01, 2005 11:17 pm
the thing is though, that the parents aren't aware of that. I told my mum that some chicks I know that are 17 are major sluts and she didn't believe me.....i still haven't told her about the girl that lives on our street that has been pregnant 3 times at the age of 14.
