Will we have a new President come Tuesday?

Other video games, TV shows, movies, general chit-chat...this is an all-purpose off-topic board where you can talk about anything that doesn't have its own dedicated section.

I knew I'd get a reply from you. So, what's Bush's IQ? 2, 3, 4? I think I was a bit generous on that last one.

Erm...so am I, I was supposed to do a report okn the election to learn more about it in Social Studies, but I let my partner do all the work so I don't know squat about this election except that Bush is a dumbass (Riot will attack me for that). Oh, I also know that Bush had to have a tutor show him where Iraq was.

Lanky Man, what the fuck are you doing with a Ross Perot picture in the thread?

No point, really...he is so ghey.... :miserable:
Ahh, yes:

For once I actually agree w/ you.
Just because if you could vote and would vote for Kerry does't make you an idiot. Sheesh. :?

I don't like to argue with the opposing party because it degrades both sides and then we act like 2 year old children but I am pretty sure that Bush will take it again.

1206 -- George W. Bush's SAT score

1206 SAT score -- hardly enough to merit an exception to Yale

1206 SAT score -- the score that got George W. Bush into one of the country's finest universities

Daddy's $$$ and influence -- what really got George W. Bush into one of the country's finest universities

George W. Bush's education from Phillips Andover to Yale to Harvard Business is extremely overrated, though it's been the basis of his entire career.

Well the Washington Redskins lost today so Kerry should be the president. For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about let me explain.

When the Washington Redskins lose their last home game before the election the opposition (Kerry) ended up winning the election but if they won that home game before the election then the other guy always won, forgot what that other guys are called . Anyways this has been true for 16 straight elections.

So cangratulations to president John Kerry.

I'll try to look for something but I heard it on NFL Primtime and during the Eagles vs Ravens game and the Patriots vs Steelers game.

I know that doesn't help but I'll try to look for something.

Two nice videos to keep in consideration before going to vote;

Showing of a more serious side than we've seen before.
An outtake from one of the debates. It's hard to argue with him on this one

It's actually realy sad to see this and when keeping in mind that this is the man that is most likely to be one of the people with most power in the world during the next 4 years... Sad indeed.

Anyways, it's 8:41 ET and this one is clearly going to be decided by some big state such as Ohio or Florida. I can't see the status quo being changed except for these few battleground states.

Even if the republican would win in Ohio, it would take at least 11 days for the democrats to make a formal objection and have a recount acording to the state law there.
So this election could actually take longer than the last one.
Even though it's leaning towars Bush as it is now. (n)

A recount from kerry is useless and would only damage his reputation. There are only 190,000 votes left uncounted at this point, and bush has a 145,000 vote lead, so kerry would have to take 168,000 of those votes if he wants to win...Theres no chance of that happening.

John F. Kerry has just done the right thing and conceded the election he lost.

George W. Bush achieved the highest popular vote count ever. Picked off Iowa and New Mexico, adding 8 to his electoral vote margin from 2000.

Republicans pick up five seats in the Senate, hold the House, the governships and state legislatures. Democrats lose their Senate Minority Leader.

A smashing success!

No. The country was founded on strong states and a weak federal government.

Since people mentioned the Washington Redskins streak...

There was an NBA-related one. Everytime the Lakers have reached the Finals in an election year, the Republican has won.

1952, 1968, 1972, 1980, 1984, 1988, 2000 and now, 2004.
