well, i tried 2k5 on superstar. yes, it is harder to drive the lane and dunk for sure.
still no shooting fouls though. Actually, that's not true. I finished the game going 4/4 from the stripe. So yes, there are free throws in the game i guess.
also seems like it's harder to hit open shots. And the cpu controlled team takes no shoots outside the paint. Take a look at the shot chart after a game. It's quite rediculous.
The cpu also gets annoyingly cheap.
I was playing the nets and Aaron Williams was doing crossovers and spin moves and hitting fade aways in the paint. YA RIGHT!
If you watch the real nba you know Aaron Williams CAN NOT dribble, and certaintly can't hit jump shots.
At least in Live, players like Aaron Williams know their role.
The mechanics are there though. Sega just needs to make the gameplay a little more realistic for next year.
If they do nothing but tweak the gameplay next year, i'll be happy.
