Guys, I understand where you're coming from but it still isn't appropriate to call another forum member out like this. Having said that...

I was basically keeping it open because I've been criticised in the recent past for locking threads prematurely, but you're right - I think this has served its purpose.

This isn't really the way to do things, but I do understand where everyone's coming from. Keithpetty, I think you need to calm down a little, certainly try being a little less confrontational and please try to consolidate some of your posts. Many of them are basically spamming which is something most of us would like to discourage in the NLSC Forum.

By the same token, if you feel a thread is just spam or a member is causing problems, please just ignore the posts and contact a moderator (or me, if I'm around). Again, I understand your complaint and I know where you're coming from, but public flaming isn't the way to solve problems like this.

It certainly is, which I why I've asked him to cut out the attitude and posted some friendly reminders in some of his threads. If the problem continues, there are ways of dealing with it.
