You mean this year or in history? Singles titles (including the WWF/WWE Championship) have been on the line in tag matches before, notably King of the Ring 2000 where Triple H (the champion) teamed up with Vince and Shane to wrestle The Rock, Undertaker and Kane in a six man tag match with the belt on the line.

Oh. I didn't know that. Nah, Tommy Dreamer hasn't retired yet. Or is it?

It looks like he might, his contract is up soon at any rate from what I've read.

Re: WWE Thread

I thought Judgment Day is a Smackdown exclusive? How come that Randy Orton is included in the card?

Re: WWE Thread

Some years ago they decided to make every PPV tribranded, not only the four big ones.

Re: WWE Thread

Imo, that's not good. What's the sense of the draft if they will allow a rival supertar to compete in the main event of another brand's PPV? I like the old Smackdown versus RAW days.

They removed the brand-exclusive PPV's after WrestleMania 23.

Actually that's a good sign I think, it slowly removes the brand split we are all cracking about.

There will be no more competition.

The brand split hasn't exactly worked out that way anyway, there's too much crossover and in the end it seems most people watch all the brands fairly regularly so the competition aspect isn't really there. Some of the buyrates were also pretty disappointing when PPVs were brand exclusive, I much prefer having mixed cards at every event. It looks like they'll be going with a three man announce team for PPVs as well with JR, King and Cole which I must say I prefer to alternating teams.

I still prefer the PPV brand exclusive. I don't know, it just give a brand exclusiveness and more matches. But that just me.

I heard that they are actually moving back on PPV brand exclusive except for those four main big ones(RR, WM, SM, and SR). I don't know but I might be wrong.

Another thing here's the photo of Iron Shiek urinating himself:

I agree with you. It also showcase other (super)stars' talent, unlike in the big 4 PPVs, only the main eventer gains the spotlight.

Cool. Need to check that place. I need something to wear for the upcoming event on July, hoping to see The Game.

There's the potential for a better card top to bottom though. As I said, some of the brand exclusive PPVs - particularly the Great American Bash - were doing terribly. I just think the brand extension has jumped the shark, though with the size of the roster they can't really get rid of it and having two major belts has certainly helped more people get over and get main event pushes.

do you think those people who got over with the help of a second heavy weight championship belt, wouldn't have made it anyways?

Too bad, it's a Smackdown live event. Triple H won't be there. He's with Raw again.

Lashley in TNA? So much for his promising MMA career.

He still does some MMA fights occasionally, plus he has a light schedule in TNA so maybe that's still going.
