We had the nerd guy too... although he was hilarious. It was good for team unity for us all to sit and laugh at him... in one game we were up by 10, he got subbed in, 5 minutes later we were down by 10. A 20 point swing with him in the game.

Our nerd guy in our team is called the Stats guy cos he's like some maths nerd and we always ask him for the percentage of missed shots and other shitty stuff. He's b-ball IQ is like Duncan's so we're forced to listen to him but the coach pays him out as well.

Our coach is cool, some 19 yr old who doesnt give a shit if we have alcohol on a team trip (yep, i had some :mrgreen:

)

I had one guy on my team who the coach said was there for comic relief. In one game, the ref told him to take off his medical bracelet, so the coach subbed him out. He took it off and ran back on the court. We got a tech for too many players :lol:

This reminds me of a game of my HS basketball team. They were playing and the opposing team had 6 players for 20 whole seconds. People were going "wtf? There's 6 people?" and the crowd was getting quite noisy, yet the refs were blind or something. Then after the 20 secs, the refs finally got the picture I guess and whistled a technical. Those 20 or so seconds sure seemed friggin long though.

They do? I quite like the smell of them. I made the mistake of melting some cheese and putting avacado on them, made it taste dodgy. Awell.

Not really uncommon.. but not too many people eat them regularily.. they're also very expensive here.

Not enough steam is taking place here. :lol:

But anway, here's something sort of steamy (I know, I wish it was hot shower sex with a girl, but it's not).

I just had basketball tryouts for the past 3 days. I made the team last year, but there's about 5 more pretty good guys trying out. So today we heard the news about whether we made the team or not, and I was one of the 2-3 guys that made as a player manager. Basically we're the scrappy guys that aren't great but just hustle and can make some plays. So as a "manager", I practice, and I might switch around with the bottom 2 of the 12 guys that made the team to play in games (and our coach plays all 12 that suit up, so I'd get decent minutes if I got a chance to play). I'm looking to maybe try wrestling because I've been interested in it for a short while, but I'm more towards basketball.

But then, my close friend is one of the guys that got cut, but could become a player manager if I didn't want to be it. He's trying not to pressure me, but he's definitely encouraging me to wrestle since he doesn't want to. I'm not sure what I'm going to do, because I don't especially see myself getting on the high school basketball team, but not many people wrestle and I think I could get pretty good if I start now. I'm pretty torn, I'll have some hard thinking.
