I finally went and looked up that Mehmet Mehmet guy and his stats look horrible. Barely anything over 10. Did I find the wrong guy or am I just missing something?

I think Nick is already 3-4 years into his game so his stats might've developed.

Regardless of 3-4 years the guy that I say didnt look like he could make a division 3 side. Ah well, with that kinda name all sorts of miracles probably happen for him.

I bought Miladinovic because I needed more strength at the back since my captain Dragan is getting older, I figured Bojan would help him and at $28k I thought it was a good buy.

We are currently placed 8th with 1 win, 1 draw, 2 losses, but I feel that we lost cheaply to Zemun. We missed a penalty, but it's still early in the season and we still have a long way to go.
Our next match is against one of the top teams, Partizan.

I was just resigning quite a few of my players in my Arsenal game, I noticed that my Assistant did not reckon Jens Lehaman would be worth resiging.

I still resigned him, but decided I had better look into getting a replacement for him.

Any ideas?

Any idea how to go about this situation?

One of my young midfielders that i signed last year (Feli Condessa), started last season off injured due to a broken leg. He'd been out for 4-5 months or whatever, so when he recovered i decided to chuck him in the reserves for a few games until he got match fit.

After a while he became unhappy, plus he was match fit so i decided to slot him back into the 1sts side.

Yet he remained unhappy. He started in 23 games following being put back into the 1sts aswell as 2 games off the bench. Note that this was last season. And despite playing in 25 games for the firsts he remained unhappy right up into the offseason. Then the season started - still unhappy.

He's still friggin unhappy! He's played in 26 games (4 off the bench) for the 1sts so far THIS season and god damn, he's still unhappy. I mean, fucking cheer up already.

He "feels he should be a first team regular", despite having played in 51 of Stockport's previous 51 games. How do i convince him he's got short term memory loss?

Can you designate his role in the team (eg. Key Player, First Team Regular etc) or is that just when you sign players?

Nick, it's sounds like the guy suffers from some degree of depression....drop him quickly as he is no doubt bringing the entire team's morale down with him

Yeah, go to Set Transfer Status and you can pick them there.

Hmmm weird, I used FM scout and it said they want 5.5m for Viviano, I offered that amount and they turned me down, for Pelizzoli he is co-owned and it doesnt give me an option to make an offer.

Ah yeah the reason they would've rejected it is because FM Scout uses British pounds as it's currency and I'm guessing you use Euro's or something.

ah ok i see now, well anyway i managed to pry Viviano away for something like 7-8m :S but oh well its porbably worth it anyway.

Im on a 57 game unbeaten run and have had mostly wins in the league, in European games ive lost 1 game I think. Where as in League Cup I got beaten by Man City 8-2 as I took the gamble of not taking a Goalie to the game since my backup was injured, and it was just my luck that Lehman went down with and injury early, Toure was made to put on the goalie top, and lets just say he gave it his best

I use the FM07 skin... someone checked out the early screenshots of FM07 and made a skin for 06, you can get it at sortitoutsi.net.

As far as Viviano goes, I'd start him in some games you're basically guaranteed to win. Just give him a shot and make sure you're comfortable with him before you start him over Lehman straight away.

My Deportivo via Strasbourg game has suddenly become very interesting. We were coasting along alright, winning most games but losing every now and then, then the Real Madrid job became available so I declared an interest and applied for it. Little did I know, the board would get so pissed off at me for doing that they fired me and Real hired someone else. So there I was stuck without a team, rejecting offers from teams like Aston Villa and Hamburg where our of nowhere Juventus sacked their manager and offered me the job with 54 million to spend on players.

So I took it, little did I know that talent-wise this team absolutely blows. At the moment I'm playing defenders in mid-field, defensive midfielders up front etc there is just 0 depth. Apart from Ibrahimovic, Buffon, de Jong and Emerson there's virtually nothing. Somehow they are 4th in Serie A (why sack the guy who got this pile of rubbish to 4th I don't know) but the first thing I've got to do is buy more players, so this is what I've got lined up...

Vagner Leonardelli (DL) from Strasbourg for 2.1 million
Vicente Gonzalez Munoz (AM) from Deportivo for free
Raul (FC) from Real Madrid for 2.1 million
Ze Castro (DC) from Middlesborough for 5 million + a back-up GK

Jeremy Mathieu (WBL) from Strasbourg for 2.2 million (they paid 14 million for this guy)

There's a few others I'm looking at, namely Rocha (ML, Portugese, only 22 years old buy may cost about 2.5 million), Sebastian Nijenhuis (will cost over 10 million but probably worth it) and a striker, not sure who though. Juventus co-own Betinho but I'm not sure if I'll bring him in, I might get someone new. There's only a few games left in the season so I'm mostly just preparing for next year, Ibrahimovic is an absolute beast but he needs a strike partner. I might splash the cash a bit, we will see.

Whoa looks like that team needs quite a bit of work. One player I found to be very successful in 04 or 05 was Riccardo Montolivo, hes and AMLC I think, but might be ok at striker. Im unsure how good he is in this years version though.

Also how do you find players to get on a free transfer, when I go to player search and set the filter to expired contracts there is hardly and good players, yet the other teams get all these sweet players on frees........

Normally, when you goto player search it has the top valued players there. I just scroll down until there is no value there and they are the players that are free.
