To be honest, for the first one, I'm not sure what colors would work well. I really like the idea of having matching white for the effects, but they end up looking like clouds (not saying it's a bad thing, but gives a different level of interpretation). But other than that, it's cool.

Btw, the other forums must love every one of your works ;)

Actually no. One forum didn't like my second biggie sig much, yet others loved it. People are so confusing...

It's all subjective.. like art. Some might like it, others might not like it. As long as you follow good design principles, you're fine :)

New sig. Capone, the better half (IMO) of Capone-N-Noreaga. Listening to 'Invincible' by them right now. (Y)

And @ Cy, I suppose if I had good design principles and wasn't just making them up as I go I would be fine. :D

Excellent work with the Capone sigs, and nice choice of type. I like the second version better, just because the softness is a nice contrast with the hard edges. The first one is a little too tense, but great composition (y)

That's cool. (Y)

Nice work on that last sig (v1>v2), I loooove CNN.
I guess Capone is the better of the two, because Nore's solo albums suck arse.

More sig action. But this time it's an updated old one. Cormega

Cormega > CNN

Can't say I'm a huge fan of it. For some reason though, most of your sigs have the same color scheme, a grungy reddish color.

When's mega's album out anyway?

I don't know when it's out.

And just because the last two sigs have been that way, doens't mean most of them are. I did a quick check, and of what I have posted here there are 9 sigs that are red/grunge. Not really that many out of 40+.

Newness!

McGrady wall.

Mon Dec 19, 2005 1:35 pm

Tmac wallpaper is off the chains ( ). It looks even better on my desktop. (Y)

Mon Dec 19, 2005 2:38 pm

The McGrady wallpaper is hot, hot, hot, and excellent use of effects on the background and the players (y) What perplexes me is your horrible choice of typography. I mean, this piece of shit red and white crayon coloring is something that I'll find on a grade 4 brochure. It just ruined an otherwise, perfectly awesome wallpaper. I'm hoping for a second version where that'll be fixed *hint hint*

I didn't think it was that bad.

Are you suggesting a change in the effects, or in the actual font? Or both?

Mon Dec 19, 2005 6:19 pm

Yeh I also disagree, I think the it is fine, in fact, I think it was more than fine.

What I dont like, if anything, is the two Tmac pics in the top left where u can see the court, where as the other ones u cant....it draws my attention there.....but hey the rest makes up for it.

I think it's the effects and a bit of the colors. I'd make the white type more darker and the red a little more of T-Mac's darkest red on his jersey. Right now it's too much of a contrast that separates itself from the wallpaper.

As for the court on the top left, I like it there, it makes a diagonal flow from the court textures to his jersey textures.

can u please PM me the big picture you used in your t-mac wall?

Tue Dec 20, 2005 12:48 pm

Man, some nice stuff in there

Updizzled...or something...

Still looking for comments on the abstract sig. It may not be typical to this site, but...well nothing.

And yeah, a little preview of my current project.

Tue Jan 03, 2006 3:56 am

The abstract is good, but I just can't appreciate them. They just look like unfinished sigs to me, like a background for something.

The Dwyane, I don't know. It's looks really weird right now. Might have to see the final product to be able to judge it.

Tue Jan 03, 2006 7:38 am

I really like the abstract sig; but there's not much to comment on, because well, it's abstract :) The good thing is, it looks good.

Tue Jan 03, 2006 10:00 am

Same here, I really like the Intrusive signature, it's simple and very, very, very appealing to my eyes.

Then again, I have a known love for that shade of blue. My laptop has the Alienware Invader Theme to it, my room has shades of it, my door has a huge ass wallpaper of the beach with that shade & the speakers I'm about to get, the LCD's have the colour to it.

I think the beach colour effect still plays a pivotal role in why I like it as much as I do.

The Wade one, I don't really get the fascination with those kind of works, I don't understand it technically I suppose to fully appreciate it.

After it's done & I see the original pic & the after pic, I'll probably be whistling a different tune.

It's going to be part of a whole theme. If I can pull it off, it should look great. And technically it's rpetty damn hard. I worked on Wade (the full image, not just that bit) for about two and a half hours. Of course there was a lot of trial and error as I haven't done that before.

Tue Jan 03, 2006 10:24 am

Yeah, that's what I meant by not knowing the technical difficulties. I remember a big deal being made out of Mikki's Shaq vector & recently Cyriel's.

So yeah, I guess keep up the work & finish it so that I can say it looks nice.
