ok fine w/e but i dont understand why people hate my sigs when i see my t-mac kobe and kanye and iggy one i see a good signature, especially my kobe one, i have no idea why people dont like it

simply put.. the effects are cheesy, the color schemes are henous, the text is tacky, there is no alignment or balance in the placement of graphics and text, there's no framing, and the cutting/masking either has no defined crisp edge or there is overlapping of either the foreground, background or both.

All of those things contribute to a general lack of polish or perceivable quality

on the plus side you seem enthusiastic about what you're doing.. follow some of the advice I gave in your thread (it doesn't matter if you only have elements 3.0, the principles of design apply there too), and look around at what other people are doing. Try to establish what other people are doing right and slowly try to bridge that gap between your work and theirs. You will improve. Like any creative pursuit, improvement will occur with time invested and a desire to learn.
