even something as simple as me offering to give up my moderating duties since i felt i wasn't even doing anything different/therefore i don't need to be a mod.... jackal of course is finding ways to rip on me for it

and i'm very disappointed with the moderators let this and the happenings in the other thread slide. and it is total bullshit that there's this unwritten rule that in order to deal with jackal, you have to kiss his ass.

i put my ego aside for the better of the community (well not counting the last few hehe- i'm just very frustrated we weren't able to come to a proper resolution) but this guy takes it as an invitiation to just to be even more uncivil and gets away with it

Why do you seek reassurrance by Matthew & Jae? What was the point of bringing up Jae the last time in the NBA Talk thread? Was that to show me that ooh, someone I talk well about said he disagrees with me? Really, waht was the point of bringing up Jae?

Matthew has said he doesn't like the current situation but also let me decide to do that I'll do what I must do. Frankly, after talking to him I felt kind of embarrassed as to how far I've let this shit go.

the reason i talked to jae because i wanted to get a second opinion on whether i was going about the right way of settling this rivalry/if i said anything out of line

also i wanted to let him know that i was very frustrated and tired of this whole thing

also i sought out jae because i believe his opinion has credence

and from what i gathered, he said that i hadn't really done anything wrong though he said one my comments would bother you because, well, you're jackal.

i've spoken to others as well and they reiterated the same thing, especially the part of me having to be extra nice/careful with you

so contrary to what you perceive, i'm not the only who thinks my intentions were genuine the entire time and my lakers comments were purposely not meant to "mock" you. i even reiterated my lakers comments were not that. yet you unleash this flurry of negative comments towards me endlessly, which i took in stride and never replied

you haven't given me any reason to think otherwise about you have to say about me. not since your first reply to my 2nd PM have i heard at least one shred of positive thoughts toward me or to any attempts at burying the hatch.

i commend you for feeling embarrassed and apologizing to the community for your behavior. but you can't even get yourself to apologize to me, just like you couldn't reply to the first PM from me asking for peace. and even in your last comment, you're calling me an asshole

all of this leads me to believe that you truly have a disdain for me for whatever reason and this behavior speaks even louder volumes of your character

My opinion on this is that you're both big boys now so you can sort this out yourselves.

I don't really think two mods fighting in public is good for the forums, but it hasn't degraded into insults and such as of yet so it's not too bad. I don't think you have to kiss Jackal's ass to get him to be civil to you, I mean the only ass I'll ever kiss belongs to warriors of the NBA like Keith Van Horn and Christian Laettner and Jackal's nice to me. I don't really know what a solution could be, maybe you two could just agree to disagree and try and pretend the other doesn't exist. Kinda like what I do with COOLmac.

I'm just going to post my 2 cents worth in here.

I personally can tell you the mods here are some of the fairest and best of any website i've ever been to. They dont abuse their powers of banning/suspending without a good reason. Not just because they dont like you.

Just the fact Jae put up with me when I first joined was proof enough for me. I thank Jae for that also, and I hope he can forgive me.

I believe that everyone here, at some point in time, will have their disagreements with moderaters, and such, and there's no way out of that. So in this point I will agree with Andrew, noone should go off and cuss someone out, you should all take a more civilized approach and talk it through, not threaten, just talk it through, and it can be much easier than most people might believe.
