Seven years here today. And I have not reached a thousand posts yet.

In my stay here, I have witnessed the following:

- Glory days of NBA live and EA hating.

- Boom in patch creation. I played the NBA live series quite a lot for many years. Many of the guys fixing these games are great! I won't name anyone, but they made my gaming experience a lot better. Thanks! I made patches for a while. I mainly contributed to hamzie's Ultimate Pinoy Basketball project. Man, where is that guy now? I mainly learned through the influences of c0nr4d and Lean. Thanks guys!

- Pinoy "gangsters" invasion. I apologize for my fellow Filipinos who have caused inconvenience here and lowered the general IQ of the forums. I hope you'll all understand that they are not a representation of how we conduct ourselves. It's just that basketball is a big thing here and this happens to be the most popular forum for NBA live-related discussions. So the junkies all flocked here. Good thing 2K became the only basketball game for PC for now. Those junkies can't afford PC's which can run this game.

- Death of NBA live (not quite) and survival of NLSC. Man, the activity here sure took a big hit when NBA live 2009 was cancelled. Props to Andrew for being able to keep this community alive and well.

It also seems that I've hit 89,000. I'll admit, after a certain point, you don't really pay attention to it.

Took nearly ten years but I've finally hit the 10,000 post mark. I don't want to get too sentimental because this is a message board about sports video games, but we're a fairly tight-knit community here and it's been a lot of fun to be a part of it. I post on other boards from time to time but NLSC feels like home.

Much love to my Dynasty peeps - Sit, X, Kenny, Martti, Valor, others, you know who you are. Our section will rise again! Indeed it was The X's Bobcats story that made me join here. Also shout-outs to guys like Andrew (for running the place), benji (for encouraging me to question my beliefs) and shadowgrin (for ??????). I'm sure there's a bunch of people I forgot but you're all great (for the most part).

Anyway, here's to the Blazers and Seahawks winning it all this year and 10,000 more posts!
