One was in the Round of 16, the other is in the Quarter-finals, how is that relevant?

Another nice win from Argentina. :) Messi has yet to score, but he's been the key on setting up most of the goals. Like today, the first goal (though it was offside). Germany will be tough, they were really dominant today.

Nice refereeing all around - not counting a clear goal and allowing a goal from a clear offside situation.

I've watched many world cups and this has been some of the worst refereeing I've seen so far. There's been at least one truly bad call in each game basically.
Mexico didn't deserve to win this one, but still...

Spain through to the Quarter Finals. They did what even Brazil couldn't do, score against Portugal.

Netherlands vs Brazil
Uruguay vs Ghana
---------------------
Argentina vs Germany
Paraguay vs Spain

Still on track for a Brazil vs Spain Final (Y) Although Argentina or Germany could easily make it too.

It's possible for all South America teams to make the semis. If it does happen, I will make a post with a bunch of positive smilies.

No, no Ghana. Paraguay is OK, but they have to get through a David-Villa-scores-all-of-our-goals and powerful Spain.

As long as he keeps setting up teammates perfectly, I don't care if he gets a goal or not. :P
