yes it is.

So you think winning the Australian Open in against some guy ranked 57 is a big deal compared to beating Agassi for the US Open, Hewitt for Wimbledon, Sampras at Wimbledon in 5 etc etc?

No offense or anything but I get the feeling you're a bit thick.

as for baghdatis... hes a great player, i dont see how u cant see that.

Where did I say he wasn't a good player? Are you reading someone elses posts? See the thick thing, this kind of thing makes me draw that conclusion. OMG HU IZ HOTTA, FED OR BAGGDATTIS!?!?

Sampras won his seventh major in his 22nd try. Federer was playing in his 27th. Their birthdays are four days apart, and they won their seventh Grand Slam titles at the same age.

its incredible to think that federer only started doing this over the last two years(!) that means he's broken the records of some of the greatest and most legendary players ever in the span of....two years. wow. mind boggling.

its so exciting to watch federer, i don't remember the last time in any sport where i watch a guy and think, gosh, he may very well be the greatest ......ever.... and he's only 24. his game is as close to perfect as anyone i'ver ever seen play, possibly in any sport. he's got a beautiful slice that seems to just float in deep, power shots, perfect volley form, and i guess he's working on the drop shot (though hingis still has the best drop shot i've ever seen.... speaking of hingis she won the mixed! swiss power!), he creates angles and winners like no one, can control pace without thinking, has a good-great serve, can handle pressure, ups his game when he needs to, and has incredible hand eye not to mention anticipation. even the greats are in awe, and thats unheard of at his age.

plus he's got coach roche. :D .... god that must be a hard job. i feel for him.

lol get off my back man... wat the hell is wrong wit u... ur the one acting paranoid and thickheaded

from the way u speak it seems like u dont really understand tennis. it is jus as impressive to win the final vs #54 in the world (now 26)... the point is not who he beats, the point is hes in the process of making history... and thats wat he got emotional about

and my comment about baghdatis... i wasnt directing that to you. that was directed towards those who were saying "time for baghdatis to get raped" "baghdatis wont last... he wont win for another few years"

and no offense... but u seem a little thickheaded... i mean... uhhh can u read? can u read wat i even said? show me where i called any1 hot... show me. all i said is id rather be ugly and hav a hot gf then hot and ugly gf... maybe ur mind is in a horny mood

no offense... here u go this will help u http://www.tennislovers.com/index2.htm?Content/rulesbrief.htm

Dude you type like a 12 year old girl, don't even try to throw the insult my way.

Oh get fucked. It's just as impressive to win the final vs the World's number 54 then it is to beat someone like Pete Sampras or Lleyton Hewitt? Give me a break. He's already made history genius, he's not in the process of it. As far as how he made the final, he was hardly impressive. He had a string of average matches but still won, and that's why he's the World #1. On his worst days he's still better than anyone else on the tour.

and my comment about baghdatis... i wasnt directing that to you. that was directed towards those who were saying "time for baghdatis to get raped" "baghdatis wont last... he wont win for another few years"

Well I said he'd be raped, so technically yes you were directing it at me.

and no offense... but u seem a little thickheaded... i mean... uhhh can u read? can u read wat i even said? show me where i called any1 hot... show me. all i said is id rather be ugly and hav a hot gf then hot and ugly gf... maybe ur mind is in a horny mood

wat does a 12 year old girl type like.

federer is in the process of making history... meaning he is on his way to 14 grand slams... and 4 year in 1 year. he has not done that yet...

dont act like it was easy for him to win this tournament

Can you actually answer my posts instead of trying to put the "argument" off in a vain attempt to hide the fact that your brains have seemingly been replaced with shit?

I'm posting valid arguments expecting a reply from you. You're posting "haha u dnt no nefin bout tennis cya lata".

I'm pretty sure I saw Mauresmo this past weekend in Old San Juan. I was at some nightclub with some friends and I noticed this buffed out "woman" wearing a tank top & jeans talkiing to this very foine chic with short hair

From my friends and myself vantage point, it sure looked like it was her, and it well worth it to find out if it was her and to find out if her lady friends swung both ways.

So we proceded to introduce ourselves and immediately the buffed out butch says - "Stop! You don't speek to her. Leab her ahlone. thees ees my tereetory"

I say in spanish "I"m sorry. We just saw you two sitting alone in this couch and thought maybe you'd like some company. How about I buy you two a drink?"

she replies "NO!" then points to the chic with the short hair "EETs my tereetory!"

I looked at my friend and then the pretty chic and tell her in spanish "your friend really is a man". My friend and I start laughing and security proceeded to escort us out of the club...

Watching Federer is so refreshing. He's not some stuck-up snob. He's a very sensitive, hard-working guy who's very humble, which is why his crying at the end was so touching. It wasn't some fake crying or anything from some punk in the ghetto.

Also, did you guys notice that Baghdatis didn't thank his girlfriend?

Actually, after Bagdhatis ended, the MC said "And, no, Camille, Marcos didn't forget you", which I thought was very gracious of him, I thought. But I wonder what happened afterwards.

And this is a quote from an article on Yahoo.

48. Best reported T-shirt sighting on the Melbourne Park grounds: "Take Me Drunk, I'm Home."

Wow  Marcos doesn't bother thanking her so the MC has to do it. That can't be good. I thought Roger was going to thank her lol, although that would've been rubbing it in.
