Might have a stunning comeback at the Allianz like they did last year. It will be very hard though because the pressure is really on them. Ozil seems to be out of form recently.

I think it's just better to blame referees for the loss like the followers of some teams always do, so yeah refs fault.

It was a penalty, but the red card might have been a bit overboard.

On the bright side for Arsenal they could go back to the top of the league this weekend if they beat Sunderland and Chelsea fail to beat Everton.

Man Utd with the tough trip to Crystal Palace :P

Would they want him back? Should spend the money on Diego Costa instead

Top four breaking away from the pack a little bit after they all won and Spurs lost at Norwich.

Last two Liverpool games have been 3-2 and 4-3 wins. Horrible to watch as a fan, but really important 6 points. :x

My mate Phil, who do you think will finish as 3rd on EPL? Arsenal or Liverpool?

Re: General Football/Soccer Talk

Liverpool have a tricky game away at Southampton next (where I think we lost last year). Plus a trip to Old Trafford (which is always tough no matter how poor United are playing). We also have home games against Spurs, City and Chelsea. The fact that we play the big teams at home is why there is still a slight hope of winning the league. Hopefully we play like we did against Arsenal in those games.

Arsenal's next 4 league games are Spurs away, Chelsea away, City home and Everton away. It will be a real test for them considering they still have a couple FA Cup and Champions League games in between those as well. They have more points at the moment though so that's a big advantage.

Probably whoever gets the better results against the big teams will get 3rd (or better).

Moyes keeps up his record breaking season. He can add "first time United have ever lost to a team from Greece" to the list now.

Re: General Football/Soccer Talk

"Greek tragedy"

But MU is officially done. They won't win any trophies this season & won't make it to CL. Could it be any worse? YES. If they somehow don't make it to the FA Cup. I'm rooting for that now.

Anybody watch CL?

Madrid just fucked Schalke. I think they are the hottest team right now after Bayern and Juventus.

I wouldn't mind seeing a Bayern vs Real Madrid final this year. (Y)

I think Barcelona, PSG and Chelsea are probably the only other teams capable of winning it. Dortmund are still good but have a lot of injuries.

Arsenal lost at Stoke and Liverpool win at Southampton. That could be huge in the race for third spot.

Suarez finally scored after like four games. He is now the top player in both goals and assists. :applaud:

Oi, I thought Suarez disappeared. Damn, I didn't know he was beasting on assists as well.

Does this mean Ozil won't the guy with most assists for the first time in 4 years?(Since Arsenal & his form are going downwards)

Re: General Football/Soccer Talk

I don't have stats to back this up but it seems not having Ramsey made Ozil's job harder to do and being on a slump considering Arsenal's deficiency up front.

I don't know what is worse, Pepe's horrible tackles or his horrible diving/acting.

Can't blame him, his teammate generated a massive surge of static electricity enough to knock him down, see how his teammate reached out to him unleashing dat current.

City, wow what happened.

If Arsenal doesn't win the FA cup might as well sell the Emirates stadium and call it a day.

Wigan happened. Just like last year's final.

You'd have to say it's Arsenal's to lose now. Not that sport always works that way, but they should win it.
