That Vickie-Edge angle is well, disturbing.

And it was announced that Triple H and Jeff Hardy will face each other at Armageddon, seems like Triple H will be on a heel turn. Triple H is a great heel, but I'd say give him a longer time as face.

This thread should really be in entertainment talk.

And Vicky might be starting to move on from Eddie's death. Good for her.

It is really disturbing.

Triple will definately be a great heel. There is a plan that Hunter will face Cena on Wrestlemania but because Cena is injured, HBK might face Hunter on Wrestlemania. That would be good.

Also, Shelton was transferred to ECW. This would be good for him as he will be given there the right push he deserved.

Finally, Raw is Jericho.

A great promo of the Rock and Jericho from the interesting days of WWE.

Jericho: "...you and you're 'Just Bring It'. Bring what, a vomit bag? A Fig Newton?..."

Classic.

As over as Jeff Hardy is, I don't know if he's the right person for a heel turn by HHH; even though they've kind of had a loose alliance since Survivor Series, a turn by HHH would be more effective if he stabbed someone like HBK or Flair in the back.

I think they are setting this one up for the Intercontinental Championship storyline.

Fri Dec 07, 2007 3:26 pm

I just read wrestlezone and the current plans for Triple H is to win over Hardy and then fight Orton on RR 08 and win the match. Also because Cena was injured, there is a plan on Triple H/Batista title match on WM24.

I think Batista will lose the title to either Taker or Edge and win the Rumble. After that, he'll go to Raw and challenge Triple H for the title.

So all the SAVE_US.222 hype is just for it and have another SmackDown main eventer going to Raw (just noticed that recently, top SD people are going over to Raw).

I'd like to see Triple H as a non-heel kind of champion. And yeah if ever he wins, I hope they bring back the old WWE championship belt(the pre-Cena ghey belt).

Sat Dec 08, 2007 10:13 am

Those kinds of plans change all the time though. I can't really see Jeff Hardy going over HHH but they could always have Orton or someone else interfere, leading to HHH winning the Rumble itself and then squaring off with Orton at WM24.

Besides, I don't remember Jeff Hardy being in a World Title match save the one against Undertaker for the WWE Championship.

I don't do much researching so you can smash me again.

Gladly Lean. Gladly.

Sun Dec 09, 2007 4:51 pm

You're welcome.

Sun Dec 09, 2007 5:17 pm

Lean, do you know any place where I could buy WWE merchandise here in the country?

I'm looking for a DX t-shirt. The one with the old design with just the letters of DX on the front.
I'm also looking for a Jericho one. Where a blue silhouette of him with arms spread (his entrance pose) as the design.

RVD is back for one night on 15th Anniversary. Didn't see that coming!

Thu Dec 13, 2007 12:16 pm

Definitely one of the better RAWs of this year in my opinion. Perhaps I'm just a sucker for nostalgia.

Sat Dec 15, 2007 1:44 pm

Yeah, the Battle Royal is cool with IRS giving way for the Million Dollar Man.

Sat Dec 15, 2007 4:03 pm

RVD kicked ass, they better bring him back permanently. Very strange that there was no real mention or appearance of The Rock though.

The Rock was supposedly on the show but he rejected the offer because his on public vacation. :(

Ho train! :D

Bastion Booger and Big Dick Johnson.

Sun Dec 16, 2007 4:34 pm

On that old-skool battle royal, seems like the crowd barely remembered everyone. I mean, Doink the Clown is :headbang:

Although I was really expecting The Rock or Bret to have at least a titantron appearance. RVD's surprise appearance also kicked darn ass.

I think most of the crowd was children. They only know the current superstars. When Al Snow entered, no one even said head. :(

Good to see Steve Blackman and he's still on a good shape. But what I really like most was Gillberg. Gillberg... Gillberg..

Sun Dec 16, 2007 7:21 pm

Gillberg never fails to make me laugh.

It appears that JBL will be back on being a full-time wrestler after attacking Jericho. Well, I really liked him and he's one of the greatest heels on WWE.

Tue Dec 18, 2007 9:47 am

I guess not, it's probably for a one-night only match.

With Triple H losing I guess Andrew's predictions for the Wrestlemania 24 main event will be correct. And with Edge winning the World title, both Raw and Smackdown have heel champions.

Seriously? I couldn't be less enthused. I've never bought him as a main eventer or his heel character anything but annoying...and not in a good way such as "I want to see this heel character get beaten up", more like "I don't want to see this character, ever". I suppose it means Tazz is paired up with Michael Cole again which I prefer to the Cole/JBL pairing but the last thing the WWE needs to do is have JBL mixing it up in the main event.

Of course, it looks like Y2J's return hasn't gone as well as hoped since the crowd reactions are coming across as rather flat. Maybe it is because his character is a bit flamboyant. He's still a top performer and great on the mic so it's a bit weird. Then again, for all Randy Orton's ring ability he doesn't cut much of a promo in my opinion, so a war of words between them isn't that entertaining.
