PWI also named Cena #1 on their Top 500 list for the second year in a row.
It's certainly looking like a Jericho return is in the works with the video (seemingly) hinting at it and the fact that Jericho's book signing schedule does not include any Mondays, leaving them open for him to work RAW shows.

I love watching Jericho. I certainly wouldn't mind if he goes to Smackdown or Raw, against Batista or Cena and make them look like ass clowns.

They're kids for crying out loud. Let them choose who they want.

I read at wrestlezone that Jericho picked up WWE over TNA. I am not sure if this news is true... but if this happen, He'll gonna save WWE.

There's stuff all over Youtube where people have taken that weird Matrix-like thing from RAW and freeze framed it. Heaps of evidence from what the words in the freeze frame say points at Jericho.

That OCT7 thing on the video is one good hint that he'll probably show up on No Mercy. Hopefully he does come back, but not on ECW.

I hope he will go on SmackDown. Not much good wrestlers are there when Edge is injured

Someone notice the hidden links about the Save_us.222 in wwe.com?
Go to the left corner of the web and there is the Save_us.222 and many wwe pages have a secret link. I think it's another hint that Jericho will return.

Interesting. But I haven't checked out those other pages with this "secret link".

A Jericho return is certainly looking more and more likely. If they actually went ahead and put him in an angle with Cena and brought up the fact that it was a loss to Cena that saw him get "fired" that would be fantastic. With Jericho's work habits and professionalism, not to mention his in-ring ability, mike skills and charisma, I'd much prefer to see him as the heel feuding with Cena and ending his reign than Orton at this point.
If/when he does return I imagine he'll get a face pop though. With Y2J's popularity and Cena's mixed crowd reactions, I'm not sure simply going up against Cena would facilitate a heel turn, though Jericho is more than adept at working a crowd.

that Save_us.222 is kinda weird...for me...what was that video all about?!hahah!very interesting!
Tue Oct 02, 2007 11:02 am
That video is a promo shown on Raw, probably a return of Chris Jericho. "Save us", I believe, is one of Y2J's catchphrases during his run in the WWE.
Tue Oct 02, 2007 3:10 pm
Now I'm confused whether Jericho will return because Raw aired a new promo which had many "8-2-11", "grand slam", "savior", and " big show". I read the wrestlezone and one of the readers said H is the 8th letter of the alphabet, B is the 2nd and K is the 11th, could it be the Return of HBK? Also maybe Grand slam means that HBK is the first Grand slam champ, savior is him being Religious?

and big show means he's the showstopper.

hmm. This is kinda interesting...
Also check wwe.com and look at the left corner and they added new "secret link", The link is savior self.

In his debut speech (it's on Youtube, the Rock completely owns him) he kept going on about how he was there to save the WWF etc.

I guess it is an HBK return.

To all Cena Haters, Cena will be out of action for 6-8 months because of a shoulder injury.... well on NO mercy we got a New WWE champ....
Wed Oct 03, 2007 10:02 am

Yay to that.
EDIT: And I hope that this news is not kayfabe.
Wed Oct 03, 2007 10:40 am
It's legit - the haters win. I want Kennedy vs. Orton.
EDIT: OR JERICHOOOOOOOO!
EDIT: And still Cena won't have lost a championship match for another 6-8 months!
Wed Oct 03, 2007 12:30 pm
I really hope that it's not kayfabe, and I'd like to see Triple H hold the title (but I guess he won't qualify on the WWE Championship Match since he will face Umaga on No Mercy, unless the card completely changes).

Got to love it when people jump for joy when someone that entertains them week after week injures his pectoral muscle. Classy stuff going on here.

Since Cena's a classy guy, it's not a classy comment to cheer or wish injury, but as for entertaining? It's arguable, but Cena's reign hasn't entertained me one bit until this Orton feud. It's just not entertaining when you know he's NOT going to drop the title. So I don't cheer for his injury, but I do cheer for the fact that there will be FINALLY a new champion, bring something new to the program, maybe a new direction, and heck, bring back the old undisputed title. The Spinner needs to get sledgehammer and punted into the depths of Wrestlecrap.com
EDIT: Having Cena come back with a Vengeance trying desperately to get back his title, would make an interesting storyline. But not if he gets it back right away.
Wed Oct 03, 2007 4:06 pm
BK, I'm jumping for joy that he's dropping his title and his unbeatable character. That's just it. Nobody should become another Hulk Hogan.
Wed Oct 03, 2007 4:44 pm
He still wasn't beaten, and Hulk Hogan is/was a terribly mediocre wrestler that did great promos.
If they do Jericho vs. Orton, which they won't, I will mark out.
