"Murray Array" doesn't sound bad either.
In reference to Murray - The Demonic Talking Skull of Monkey Island

I ran your name and the other band members' on a anagram generator. Most of you didn't return many exciting results but "Declan Simpson" returned some interesting names like "Monism Clasped," "Demonic Psalms" and "Maiden's Clomps."
If you can't settle on a name, you should try it. A lot of bands picked their names through dictionaries or anagrams.

Agreed, it sounds better without "The" in front of it.
Mon Oct 20, 2008 9:47 pm
Well, after all that, Vyv and Declan don't like Mess Array.
So that eliminates both my favourite names, Hail of Contraband and Mess Array. They were the two that stood out for me. Which brings me right back to where i started at the start of this freakin thread.
Fuck this.
We're just gonna have to collectively think of something. There's no use in me doing all the work.
Blah.

"Way Better"
It makes you listeners wonder.
Tue Oct 21, 2008 12:10 pm
Why not drop the "Beaver" part and just go with "Core"?
Tue Oct 21, 2008 12:51 pm
I'd actually thought of that once before, before we settled with Beavercore.
Not a huge fan of it, sounds a bit funny when you say it a few times. (Try it. It's true. Core. Core. Core. Core. Core. Sound like a bird.)
The only way the band is going to come up with a band name is if we're all collectively hanging out and thinking of things. Even if i came up with the best name in the world by myself, people like to be able justify using the name, and be involved in the creative process, otherwise they don't like it as much. And there's no use on wasting good ideas in this forum thinking of things, if they're just not going to get used. So yeah, the band is just going to have to have a collective brainstorm.
Either that or maybe i need to learn how to communicate ideas better? Hmm, maybe...
But good things will come out of us brainstorming as a band anyway.
I appreciate everybody's willingness to get involved and help out.
It made me feel warm and fuzzy (like a 'you know what'). But to no avail. Gonna have to be a band-only thing i've realized.
Tue Oct 21, 2008 1:40 pm
That might be for the best, a bit of a brainstorming session where you're all hanging out and throwing names out there until someone puts something out there that everyone likes.

Doesn't have to be but if that's the case, so be it.

Nick Nack and the Knock Knocks. Start telling knock knock jokes and bringin nick nacks when you hang out. Pitch the phrases and eventually that's the name.
Foreskin. If your all un-snipped
All out of Bubblegum. Chew some gum, say your all out, and keep saying it until they decide that's the name.
The Criminals. Yeah.
Cottonmouth. I know you don't want drug referenced names, though.
Clitor. Just saw a hottie.
Cleave. Woah, she had some biguns.
The Mumbos. Fallout 3 nerdology.
Nickel Sack. More drug crap.
Anyway(hey there's a bandname), I think if you are trying to come up with a band name, forget about trying to make one and just do what you normally do when you all hang out and it wlll eventually be right on the tip of your tongue(there's another).
Congrats on the demo, it's only been 7 months since your last activity in this thread so I know you guys have been working hard. Any new material on the net?
One last 'Brain Freeze'
Warm and Fuzzy.
