Seen some Crysis gameplay videos, and yeah it does kick ass.

got witcher and crysis now. i have not started crysis yet, i tend to try and play 1 game through before starting another.

I got Rock Band, leave me be.

Call Of Duty 4.... wow. Just, wow. Seriously the greatest achievment in video games since the original Mario.

Mon Nov 26, 2007 6:32 pm

^ A little overexaggeration? The multiplayer portion totally overshadows the singleplayer, I don't think I'm ever going to finish the campaign. At the end of the day this it's merely a makeover on the previous ones in my opinion.

I'm playing Live 2001 once again, waiting for NBA 2k8 on the ps3. And I'm also waiting for my gamecube to arrive

Ditto. Best game I have played in years. Played it non-stop yesterday and loved every second of it.

Played a little Assassins Creed, found it a bit underwhelming. Will go back to it for another go. The Simpsons game is a bit of fun, not the greatest game ever, but decent.

It's worth the wait. It's the only game I play right now.

what's COD4 like offline?!? I wouldn't be playing it online, so is there any point?

Brilliant. Haven't played it online yet. I'm completely absorbed in it offline, the story is great and the missions are intense. There's a lot of variety and each mission is challenging but enjoyable.

You don't have much freedom, the game is very scripted. The SP is quite short too, I suggest playing on the harder settings to make the game last longer.

But still an amazing game even if you dont play online.

Mass Effect...one of the greatest games I've played in a long time... (Y)

COD4 is fantastic as usual, but even its visuals almost look weak in comparison with Crysis. That game is just stunning, and you do have the freedom to wander around, take your time and admire what the Crytek guys have created. Simply stunning
But COD4 is still one of the very best-looking, most intense games I've ever played...You know you can expect a pretty short SP campaign with COD, but you definitely enjoy every second of it.

I didn't know that Mass Effect came out. And EA bought BioWare a few weeks back.

And speaking of Mario, just finished the Game Boy Advance port of Super Mario World. I found that shortcut to Bowser's Castle  :|

NBA Live 2003 on the xbox... I'm pretty much out of games. I got bored of COD4, I wish they had imported the original pc version pf Battlefield 2 to 360. Still waiting for 2k8 to drop here.

Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga on the GBA = (Y) (Y) (Y), shades of the first Paper Mario game.

I got a PS3 not too long ago and I've been killing Fifa 08. Really is a good game IMO. I had Def Jam which I really enjoyed especially the Build a Label mode but returned it after I finished it and got Splinter Cell: Double Agent which I am slowly starting to play now.

I'm a big Sam Fisher fan and even I had to give up on that game. :?
I knew it was buggy as hell, but that's even worse that I expected. It does look very nice most of the time, and it does have your regular SC gameplay, that it when it doesnt' crash, lock up, keep up from using your keyboard, have weird artifacts on screen, or any of that bullshit. Huge disappointment, Ubisoft better step up for the upcoming SC...

yep, I've got FIFA 08 for PS3....haven't played it much due to big exam I had recently, but now that is out of the way, I will get into it a lot more & get the A League rolling along....although once College Hoops 2k8 arrives in the mail (which should be in the next day or two), I'd say that will become my 1st preference game :P

Well, since I beat Assassin's Creed I haven't really bothered to play it much since I can't fast forward through cutscenes when "reliving" memories. So lately it has been Live 08 PC, the recently BC'd ESPN NFL 2k5 w/ updated rosters, Rock Band of course and a little NBA 2k8 thrown in there for good measure.

I find the "hack" minigame very seizure-prone. But I like the graphics.

The graphics really are beautiful most of the time, it uses the Unreal 3.0 engine so that's definitely good stuff, but even that cannot save this game from failing. The bugs are THAT bad....

Hopefully Conviction will be a lot better.

Sat Dec 08, 2007 6:21 am

I have no idea why Sam looks like that. Only played SC1 and Pandora Tomorrow, while Chaos Theory won't run on my PC. I've played Double Agent on my classmate's PC so I'm not aware of the bugs.

Does Sam really can't run while in aim mode or is it just me?

I believe it's always been that way actually.
Either way, with this game you're lucky if you can actually use your usual controls from one quickload to the other. The keys change randomly, some are unusable, some make the game crash,....ridiculous shit.

Conviction definitely sounds interesting, it's just sad that it has to come to whether or not the game will playable at all. With Ubisoft's recent releases, it's hard not to be afraid of what the QA team will do next...

Sat Dec 08, 2007 4:25 pm

Lucky I don't have it on PC then.
