Hm, questions.

Do you have any prized possessions?
What about any trophies/medals?
If Michael Jordan jumped off a cliff, would you?
Who'd you rather be like, Nikoloz Tskitishvili or Darko Milicic? (Everyone wants to be like Nike)
Can you please autograph my Live 06 cd  ?

Fri Apr 14, 2006 1:11 am

Andrew..my turn my turn. Why are so many people asking about being a mod? huh? huh? Can i be one btw?

Also, will Tim ever post on these forums again?..will brien ever bless us with a good tool?..and i don't mean mike davis or Da_Truth.

Will this thread end up being a severe marathon? And are people using it as an excuse to help them get a higher post count?

Fri Apr 14, 2006 5:20 am

Would it be possible for us to switch post counts?

More questions:
- If you are to change the name Nba Live Series Center (NLSC), what will it be?
- Who's your favorite active WWE wrestler?
- What's you favorite curse word/profanity?

Fri Apr 14, 2006 7:01 am

Andrew, are you sick of the questions already? Would you like to keep going? How many more questions can you handle?

Fri Apr 14, 2006 8:23 am

Congrats on the 20k, Mr. Admin :) I think at my rate, it would take me 20 years on this forum to reach this mark  . Alright, to the questions:

1) Do you still keep in touch with this Tim person? On a side note, I said him on The Score (Canadian Sports Channel) on "The Lab," when they were interviewing developers of EA Sports titles what goes into making a game and stuff.

2) Out of everyone on this forum that is not already a mod, who would most likely be made one?

3) If Jae was running this place, what do you think would happen?

Fri Apr 14, 2006 8:50 am

Question: Andrew will you have my babies?

Congrats on the milestone. You deserve every bit of it.

I would think of something else to say, but I'd just be rambling out how well you run/contribute to the site and forums.

1. British, old bean.
2. Both
3. Sky-blue pink
4. Oh my, yes...

5. Probably Bourbon, because he'd turned into such an ass. I actually gave him a shoutoutin my 5000 post thread because he was a good poster but after a disagreement in which he threatened to post "a lengthy critique of the Begley Administration", he took it upon himself to follow me around in NBA Talk making snide little comments. It was a bit disappointing but I was quite happy to give him the boot.

Special mention also has to go to the guy who continues to harbour hatred towards me, referring to me as a "hack" (or so I'm told). Man, he caused some headaches. If he wants to hate me, the NLSC and avoid us like the plague...well, that's his problem and his loss. I don't lose sleep over it.

1. I prize anything I've spent a lot of money on. I'm materialistic that way.
2. I've got a basketball plaque to represent all the years I spent with my basketball club. Even though I got a couple of MVP Awards, they were too cheap to splash out on trophies for all the teams so I've got a towel with "MVP" on it and socks to show for those seasons.
3. No way. There's being a dedicated fan and there's being an idiot.
4. Tskitishvilli. Less hating.
5. Sure. Postage at your expense, of course. :P

1. I suppose most people like to run jokes into the ground. You however, can be a mod. I'll go you one better and make you a global mod. (Y)

2. I hope so, and will encourage it. I haven't been able to get in touch with Brien for ages, so probably not. :(

3. Yes and yes. :P

Actually, it is. But it's not gonna happen.

1. Basketball's Excellent, Great, Great Site. (BEGGS)
2. The Undertaker
3. I think we all enjoy the versatility of "fuck". Especially when combined with other words, such as "fuckhead", "fucknuts" and "ratfucker".

Surprisingly not, sure would, and I guess we'll find out. ;)

1. Yes
2. Already answered that one
3. Well, two things come to mind: the Banned List would have even more amusing descriptions (for everyone) and there'd be a lot less NBA Live content.

Andrew, how did you deal with the Bulls playoff drought in the late 90's and early 2000's?
When Curry and Chandler were drafted, what were you thinking?
What year did you start following Chicago?

LOL

Andrew some more quiries if i may.

1) What was the funniest thread you've seen? In the old forums and the new.
2) Why are all the 'vet's gone (or stopped posting) ?
3) Is there some kind of rift, rivalry or gang war between .org and nlsc? Will there be blood spilt?

Cheers :)

1. Just had to deal with it, hoping they'd make the right moves. I was happy to see Krause go.
2. I was pretty disappointed Brand had been dealt for "potential", but I was trying to remain hopeful because I'd heard some good things about Eddy Curry.
3. Would've been early 90s, when the NBA was getting more exposure here in Australia.

1. The original Starting Five thread was one of the better spam-type threads, with all kinds of discussions, jokes and fun.
2. Most of them are much older now and have their own responsibilities to keep them busy. A lot of them lost interest in NBA Live as well, which has contributed to the exodus.
3. There's been a rift, arguments between members of each sites and so forth in the past. I've personally never been interested in any "gang warfare" though. I would prefer to just focus on doing the best job I can with the NLSC. As I said to Nick earlier, a lot of video games and other topics of interest have multiple fansites dedicated to them, so I see no harm in having a whole lot of NBA Live fansites and the guys over at nbalive.org have done a lot of great work throughout the years. So no, I'm not looking for any war. There was ill-feeling some three, four years ago but that's behind me now.

No, I didn't. He posted while I was completing my previous post. As you can see, I've just finished editing my last post to answer his questions.

Without revealing too much of his personal life, he works in the hospitality industry these days and those are some tough and unusual hours, so he doesn't have as much free time.

Fri Apr 14, 2006 3:11 pm

hospitality industry? Is he emplyed as southern doctor?

Fri Apr 14, 2006 3:24 pm

ive got some questions:
1) will ron mercer make a return to the nba
2) whats your favourite song
3) whos the best spammer here apart from the obvious
4) have you given to the good friday apeal yet

Fri Apr 14, 2006 3:30 pm

*waits for some stupid yank to come in and say "good friday? but its only thursday."*

anyway, andrew: why is/was there so much hatred between here and dotorg?

Nope, chef. :P

1. I wouldn't be surprised if he does. Charles Smith keeps popping up so I'm sure Mercer will at least find his way onto a training camp roster at some point.
2. Nothing really takes my fancy at the moment. It's always changing.
3. Best spammer? That, my friend, would be an oxymoron.
4. Afraid not.

Some harsh words were exchanged over the new design we implemented back in 2002, I took offense to some of the comments and there was a big argument. Since then there's been a few spats over comments here and there, which I've tried to stay out of because I'd rather just focus on my duties with the NLSC. A lot of people, not necessarily staff members of either site, would like to perpetuate the rivalry but I have no interest in that. That's just going to be a distraction from my responsibilities here and what I want to accomplish with the NLSC. Anyway, I don't really want to go into that too much as I'm definitely not keen or interested in stirring up any bad blood/opening up old wounds.

Andrew: when are going the bulls win there next championship?
this year... next year... in 5 years ...

Fri Apr 14, 2006 7:42 pm

Whos your favourite NBL Player:

A) All-Time
B) Currently
C) Who had a stint in the NBA

Fri Apr 14, 2006 8:32 pm

3. I think we all enjoy the versatility of "fuck". Especially when combined with other words, such as "fuckhead", "fucknuts" and "ratfucker".

Not to mention "cunt" which is equally as versatile but three times more vile.

1: How many vets are still here? I would count but I can't be fucked. Vets being people from when you first got this job.

2: Do you remember when Jeffx was a big time roster updater lol, I had forgotten

3: Are you getting a bit sick of the same .org vs NLSC question being asked in 9 different ways during this thread?

4: If you could create an NLSC "Super Team" comprising of moderators past (and present  ) who would they be? Keep in mind this is based on them back when they had the job, not them now as many have become ass clowns.

5: Can you "make a legal copy" of the Ultimate Jordan DVD for me? The answer "no" will result in instant death via ninja.

Probably longer than that. Let's wait until they solidify themselves as annual playoff competitors before talking about that. Although hopefully it will be 2006 in my NBA Live 06 Dynasty.

I've never been into the NBL enough to have a favourite player, sorry.

1. 20 maybe? I'm feeling just as lazy right now.

2. I do, up until NBA Live 2002 on the PS2. As long as Quick Plays are on the D-Pad, looks like Jeffx's Live days are over.

3. Kinda. Being asked when the next roster is coming out and why it isn't out the moment the clock ticks over to the anticipated release date tend to be more frustrating. That and the question of whether the current roster updates will update the rosters so they are current, one I now prefer to answer sarcastically.

4. Honestly? I think we've got the best balance at the moment. Maybe I'd add someone like Stevan but this current group seems to have worked out the best.

5. I want to do another "click here" gag, but it's lost its originality, people keep blowing the prank and I don't feel like whipping up another page.
